i was new to the school, i didnt know anything about anyone, if someone had warned me maybe i wouldn't be in so much pain.

i walk inside the small school trying to see where the office is but i bump into someone "shoot, sorry!" i say "hey hey slow down baby, its not like i'll hurt ya" a slim boy with curly dark hair and nerdy looking glasses says, helping me up. "im richie, and who might you be hot stuff" i blushed, a boy had never complimented me before so i didnt know any better "im y/n" i say with a sweet smile "well y/n, meet me at the arcade after school" then he winked and walked off

i walk into the arcade and spot richie "hey!" i say "hey" he says back smirking a little, we played a few games (which richie won aLL OF THEM) and then he took me to the ally by the arcade, we were holding hands which was making me blush and then richie told me to sit so i sat on an old crate that was there and he sat beside me "you're really hot y/n" he said leaning in a bit "u-uh thanks" i say leaning in too and just like that, we kissed. it started off sweet but then it got heated and soon we ended up in a field of flowers still making out, richie hovering above me, he went down to my neck leaving hickies for everyone to see, "oh shoot! the sun is setting, i better get home" i say sitting up a bit "aw man, well, have a good night hot stuff" he says with a wink, damn this boy liked winking.

i thought i was in love, he made me feel things i had never before, and him calling me hot stuff made me think he liked me too. but boy was i wrong.

i walk into school the next day trying to find richie to ask him to hang out again, i go up to his locker when i see something that made my eyes water, he was kissing another girl.
