Harper's POV:
My mom is a good person. She'll be back. I know she will. She's probably just messing with me. Maybe she just had a really good hiding spot. I'll go look again. I'm sure she's here somewhere. Mom? Mom? Mom where are you? I know you're here. Mom! I know. This must just be a nightmare. I'll just close my eyes and count to ten. When I open my eyes I'll be in my bed and my mom will come running to me wondering if I'm okay. *Closes eyes* One....This is going to work....Two....It has to work....Three....I'll be in my bed....Four....It's just nightmare....Five....I'll wake up....Six....my mom will be there....Seven....There's no doubt in my mind....Eight....What if it doesn't work?....Nine....No. Keep a positive mind....Ten. *opens eyes* Mom? *Silence*
