Please Remember~<3 Chapter 20

Mikey's POV

What the fuck is wrong with me? Delilah's right,I have changed. And not for the better,sadly for the worse. What happened to the loving,caring,innocent Mikey? I guess that kid is gone. Its time to start clean. For Delilah's sake. Delilah....I hope she remembers the bear and locket. I think that'd hurt worse than whats going on now. Once she's better,I need to make things right for her. 

"Mikey". I heard someone hiss from the end of the hallway. I immediately stood up expecting the worst. Nick rushed passed me and towards the door of Delilah's hospital room. He started banging on the door and screaming. Tears slipped down his face. Madison rushed towards Nick and pulled him off of the door. Nick face me and lashed out. "ITS ALL YOUR FAULT MIKEY. YOU CUNT". He acts like I don't know its my fault. I guess I might as well just leave. I ran past everyone and towards the doors of the hospital lobby. I bumped into someone and when I looked up I met hazel eyes. Vinny. "We need to talk". He said. We walked out of the hospital and to a little bench on the sidewalk. 

Vinny spoke up and I gave him my full attention. "What happened". He asked bluntly. "She wanted to talk...about us. I told her about how she moved and nobody would let me keep in contact with her. I told her it was her fault and that she's the one who's changed. Than she ran outside and bam,all of this happened. Vin,its all my fault". I choked out. He rubbed my back soothingly and looked me straight in the eyes,now he's being serious. "Mike,I'm going to be completely honest with you here. No matter what anyone says,none of this is your fault. Just don't believe them. Its all a shock for them,especially Nick. Delilah's like his little sister. So if he lashes out on you,its because he wishes that he could've protected her better". I knitted my eyebrows and groaned. "But Vinny,I don't want him to protect Delilah from me. I don't see what I've done wrong except for this". Vinny nodded in agreement and side hugged me then a look of shock came across his face. "fuck". Vinny cursed under his breath. I shrugged his actions off and went back into the hospital. He stayed by the bench for some reason. 

Vinny's POV

"But,Vinny I don't want him to protect Delilah from me. I don't see what I've done wrong except for this". I nodded in agreement and then I thought of something. "Fuck". I said under my breath. Mikey shrugged my actions off and went into the hospital. SHIT,this is not good. Nick's not protecting Delilah as in a brotherly sisterly way. He's protecting her because he likes her more than a friend. I've known Nick forever,and I can tell when he likes someone. Now this is serious. I slipped my giraffe printed IPhone from my pocket and immediately dialed Gabbie's number. "Gab come to the hospital asap we need to talk". 

About 10 minutes later Gab rushed to my side. "Whats up Vin"? She asked. I side hugged her quickly making her smile and than I pursed my lips about to talk but she interrupted me. "Wait what happened with Delilah"...? "Don't worry Mikey will probably explain to everyone a little later. But I found out why Nick's acting like this. He likes Delilah. I mean if I were in Nick's position I'd beat the fuck outta Mikey. But than again Mikey's so adorable you can't beat his fa-". "Oh god,Minny probs". Gab laughed. I laughed along and then we put our serious faces on. "But Nick's known Delilah for like ever. Why would he just suddenly have a crush on her"? Gab asked. "He's the one that didn't let Mikey keep in contact with her when she lost her memory and moved". Gab's eyes bulged from her head and her jaw clung to the ground. I lifted her jaw up and laughed "Gab you're going to catch bugs". She chuckled. "But Vin,that makes so much sense. I think you're seriously on to something. You need to talk to Nick since he's still pissed off at me".

Mission;Talk to Nick and find out whats going on.
