The Secret-chapter 2

The next day was cold and windy. Red, gold, and brown leaves danced together in the wind. I had a plan, I will ask Gwen to eat pizza with me,  then I will get tto know her and I could find out he secret. I followed my plan and..... "no" was her answer.  "But why not, we're friends right" "jason, of course we're friends, and quit whining. " and that was that.

My plan had failed, and I just whined in front of a girl. So what to do next......... then the person I wanted to see,  Andy Kilerd.  I didn't know what to do, so I ran. Then I ran into Gwen and we ran together. I took her to the janitor's closet and we hid. I looked at her dark, blue eyes, and her hair. I new at that moment that I liked her. I just stared,  untill she spoke, "what now" I leaned in for a kiss but she turned her head. "No Jason" I backed away, my cheeks burning with embarrassment.

I opened the door and walked of, and I didn't speak to her for a week. When it was Saturday I walked to the park.

As I walked , a small hand grabbed mine and yanked me with incredible strength.  I turned and saw Gwen. "What do you want"  I asked.

"I want to say im sorry for last week, I would have loved to kiss you,  but I was scared." "Why"  she stared at the ground. I lifted her head and she started to cry. I wiped the tears from her face and kissed her soft, pink lips. "I love you" I said quietly. "I love you too". Then our lips brushed again.

I went home and got an idea. I sent Gwen a text saying:

  Meet me at the railroad tracks at 3:00 sharp.

I waited and she showed up at 2:56. Then I stood on the tracks and said "tell me your secret". She laughed " very funny Jason, get of the tracks"

I replied" I'm not going to get off until you tell me your secret." A train horn blew in the distance. "Get of the tracks, Jason" I held my ground. The horn was closer. "Jason"  I could see the train now. "Jason" the train was blowing the horn, warning me to move. "JASON,  MOVE NOW!!!!!" I shut my eyes, I could feel the tracks rumbling under me. The entire train was close.  Then I was knocked off my feet, and fell in the grass, Gwen right beside me. "How, you...you were over by the tree..... there's no way." Then I felt a warm liquid coming from me arm. I look to see bright red. "Oh no" said Gwen. "Get away now" I held my arm closer to her face. She shut her eyes and backed away.  Then she opened her eyes and mouth to reveal...... fangs. "AHHHHHHH!!!!" I scrambled back away from her. "Your a flipping VAMPIRE!!!" She sat down and started to cry and for a minute I forgot she was a vampire. "What's wrong" I said gently."I wasn't supposed to tell you, now we will have to move and" I cut her of there "why will you have to move" "you will tell them.... won't you. "No... no, no, no, I still love you Gwen Liken even if you're a vampire." She smiled and her fangs retracted, and I laughed. "Will you be my girlfriend." She screamed "yes !!!!" We walk home and I thought my girlfriend is a vampire.
