The butterfly lady

Adira's beginning

Adira is sitting on the ground while holding a caterpillar in her hands. Adira gets closer to the caterpillar. The caterpillar has a weird green ish skin but some dots looked gray but also kinda red. A small smile apears on her lips. "I will call you". Adira think for a bit. "finn? no. william? nah.. Are you a girl or a boy? whatever you are I will take care of you". Adira puts the caterpillar on a leave on the ground. Adira lays down not leaving her eyes off of the caterpillar. She smiles, but it fades fast away. One of her classmates stepped on the caterpillar. Adira looks at him in disbelieve. She stands up and keeps looking at him. Adira her classmate looks down then up. "I-I-I I'm so sorry Adira" said the classmate with a soft stutter. Adira gulps but shrugs it off "It's fine James". James nods and looks a bit nervous. Adira lookd confused at james. "Whats wrong?" Adira asked while James  reveals a beautiful flower. "I-I-I "James stutters and takes a deep breath. "It's for you Adira" James puts the beautiful flower in Adira her hair and they smile. Adira nods and gives him a sweet smile. The teacher looks at Adira and James and waves them over. " So class were playing hide and seek. who want's to be the seeker first?". Adira looks around and puts her arm up. The teacher looks around and spots Adira. "Adira you're the seeker first". Adira nods while going to the tree where she has to count till 20. Adira closes het eyes and counts till 20. Giggles and foot steps are heard. When Adira is finished with counting she opens her eyes and looks around. She tries to hear giggles or movements. When Adira hears some giggles she runs to the tree where the giggles were heard. When she looks behind it she sees nobody. Adira looks up the tree to look if anyone is sitting in the tree. Strangely nobody is in the tree. Adira shakes her head and keeps looking. When Adira is continuing searching for her classmates she finds a weird but beautiful butterfly. Adira follows the butterfly and tries to catch it. The butterfly flies to the spot where Adira started to count. The butterfly flies high up. Adira looks around. nobody is there. She hears some strange giggles, but it doesn't really sound like a child giggling. she feels a raindrop falling on her head. Then a raindrop falls on her dress, but it doesn't look like raindrop to her. Adira looks at the strange raindrops. It looks gray but also red. The same butterfly flies before Adira her eyes to make Adira look up. The butterfly flies high up to the tree. Adira looks at the butterfly where it goes and sees bodies hanging in the tree with ropes around there necks. It's not strangers hanging in the tree but her classmates. 1 of the bodies turns around and it's James. His mouth is open and a butterfly covered in blood comes out of his mouth. Adira falls over in shock and screams.

Adira sits up covered in sweat. She rubs her eyes and looks at the clock. "4 am.... new record." One of her roomates in the orphin huis said. Adira looks at her roomate and sighs "sorry Iris. I just" Adira got cutted off by Iris finishing her sentence " Yea I know. A vision of what happend 9 years ago". Adira sighs and rubs her eyes yet again while Iris goes to her and sits next to Adira rubbing her back. " It's not nothing. First finding out your classmates are dead in the tree and then hearing your parents were in a car accident in the same fucking day". Adira lets her hand go threw her long brown hair and nods. " Yea.. It was a really strange day like ". Adira got cutted off by Iris yet again. " The weird butterfly knew what was happening. We know. "Adira nods and sighs again. Iris looks at her and puts a piece of Adira her hair behind her ear and asks "do you want me to sing the song to help you fall asleep? ". Adira looks at her and nods " Yes please ". Iris let Adira lay in bed and holds her hand. Iris plays with her hair and starts singing the beautiful and calming song. Adira takes a deep breath and relaxes. She closes her eyes and slowly falls asleep. Adira gets woken up by her best friend Ryanne. "Get up Adira get up get up get up get up" says Ryanne while shaking Adira so she wakes up fast. Adira groans "Whaaaat? Stop shaking " says Adira while groaning. Ryanne smiles big " Big news!". Adira looks at her with the look that can kill some one if looks could kill " Like i told you... DO NOT wake me up just because it's pizza day or your crush said hi to you or your breath smells like strawberries because I don't care". Ryanne rolls with her eyes "Okay yea she said hi to me, but mrs Hillard wants to talk to you ". Adira looks confused " But I did nothing against the rules...... okay last week but". Ryanne cuts off and says " No she just has the biggest news for you". Adira shakes her head "Why does people cut me off every fucking time". Ryanne snaps her fingerss infront of Adira her face "Did you even listen to me? jeez fucking". Adira rolls with her eyes "Yea yea big news". Adira thinks for a bit and realises it " OMG BIG NEWS". Adira gets fast up, changes her clothes, brushes her hair, puts a ponytail in her hair and puts some deodrant on. Adira looks at Ryanne and shows her her outfit with putting her arms up to her side and twirls a bit. Ryanne looks her up and down and hums "It's alright, but go now or she will murder you mentally". Adira nods and runs fast to mrs Hillard. When Adira opens the door of mrs Hillard her office she apologizes right away when she steps inside. Mrs Hillard is igving Adira a soft warming smile that relaxes Adira but alo gives her chills and a weird vibe. Adira looks at the seat where a weird lady in the chair. The lady stands up and she's kinda long, but thats because the lady is wearing high heels. Adira gives a quentioning look at mrs Hillard then at the lady. Mrs Hillard stands up and smiles "Adira. you're adopted". Adira looks confused and gives a nervous giggle. " To who?"asks Adira. "To me hunny... I'm your new mom" the lady says with a smile that makes everybody including Adira nervous and uncomfortable. Adira looks up at her new mom with a gulp.
