The first rays of lights were coming through the thin curtains that were hanging at the windows of the room we were in. Usually, clients weren't allowed to sleep in the rooms they were renting but I saw in which state of tiredness Baekhyun was yesterday, he hasn't slept for days and I couldn't let him go home in such a state. I explained the situation to Chanyeol and seeing the look in my eyes when I was talking to him, he understood that it was serious. He agreed on letting him sleep in the room but warned me that it was only for this time.
I didn't slept with him, wanting him to sleep as much as he could, but I was seated next to him on the bed when the first rays of light were showing themselves. He looked so peaceful when he was sleeping, the complete opposite of how he acted last night. I didn't want to wake him up, preferring seeing him like that. But as I was thinking, still looking at him, he opened his eyes slowly. Not recognizing the familiar features of his bedroom, he got up quickly, looking around him, frightened.
" Whe- Where am I ? ", he said then.
" It's okay, it's okay.. ", I said, immediately taking his hands in mine to reassure him. " You're at Lipstick, I let you sleep here last night. "
As soon as he heard my voice and as his eyes met mine, I could feel his muscles relaxing. He then looked around him more calmly and finally recognised his surroundings. He sighed in relief before taking me in his arms. I was a little startled by his sudden actions but I took him in my arms too. I promised myself that I would be there for him, to help him repair his broken parts and if he needed a hug, then I couldn't refuse it. We stayed like that for a little while before I finally saw the time on the clock.
" It's not that I want to chase you but... nobody can see you here.. ", I said then.
He was well aware of the rules that were in application here. He then got up from the bed and got dressed, without discontentement. I watch him from the door before slowly opening it when he was ready. I peeked outside in the hallway but fortunately, no one was there at this hour. I waved him that he could go and accompanied him towards the exit. He then opened the door and was ready to leave when he stopped in his tracks. I was surprised and raised one eyebrow.

I was interrupted by none other than Baekhyun putting his lips on mine. I opened big, round, eyes. Not that I was surprised by his kiss, it wasn't the first time we kissed but... he never kissed me like that. " Thank you... For last night. ", he said then before smiling and leaving the building, leaving me alone in the hallway, still a bit surprised by his sudden action.
My cheeks began then to heat up, being coloured in a reddish tint. Why was I like that ? It was just a meaningless kiss right ? Nothing serious about that, he did it in the heat of the moment. At least that's what I was saying to myself in order to convince myself as I was walking on the road that would lead me to my house.
