One: Thrown Back

    Ruby ran and ran, Liam, Chubs, and Zu infront of her.

"Guys!! We are almost out!!" She yelled, running as fast as her legs can take her.

Zu started falling behind, Liam grabbed her arms and pulled her onto his back.

Something was launched, and it fell right infront of them. A bomb. It exploded and they were all blasted back from the impact.

They all disappeared.

Ruby slowly woke up, she looked around and saw a white room. She bolted up looking around frantically.

"I see you are awake, very surprizing to see how a bunch of sixteen year olds and a twelve year old apperate." A voice said to her left.

She whipped her head over to the voice. There stood a woman with grey-ish red hair.

"Who are you? Where are my friends?" Ruby asked.

"I am Poppy Pompfrey. The medi-witch at Hogwarts." Madame Promfrey responded.

"Medi-Witch?" Ruby asked. Her mind was going crazy and she couldn't comprehend what was going on.

"Yes. I know you may be scared. But trust me, you are in the safest place in Scotland." The Medi-witch responded.

Zu bolted up and ran over to Ruby, climbing into bed with her and wrapping her arms around her torso, before jerking back. She looked at her hands, her eyes wide. She didn't have her gloves.

"Her gloves. Miss Prompfrey, where are her gloves??" Ruby asked, looking at the woman.

"I removed them, they we filthy." She stated.

"She needs those gloves ma'am!" Ruby said. Poppy nodded.

"I see. Accio Zu's gloves." She said, holding her hand out, the gloves flying into her hands, she handed them to Zu and the small girl put them on.

"Ruby!" A male voice yelled from beside her. Liam ran to her side in a matter of seconds. "What happened? Are you okay???" He asked frantically.

"Liam! Im fine! I don't know what happened!" She said.

"I assume you three are close?" Prompfrey asked.

"Yes, we are like family. Wait. Chubs. Where is Chubs!?" Ruby asked, she threw off the blankest and stood up. Looking around. She found Chubs and he had burns all over his body, she ran over. "Ch-Chubs..." She said. He looked terrible. His skin was scortched. He was unconscious.

"I assure you he is fine, Miss Daly." A grandfatherly voice said from behind her, she zipped around. A man with a long beard was behind her.

"How do you know my name?" She asked, looking at the skeptically. She saw Liam holding his hands up and a small object floating around, aking Zu smile.

"Your blood test. Now, we shall have you sorted then one of the students from your respective house will take you to Diagon Alley to get your school supplies." He said.

"Sorted? Diagon alley?" Ruby asked confused.

"Yes, now, your friend is waking up, we will have to apply burn cream to his burns and he should be as good as new." The man said. He walked to the medi-witch and started talking to her.

Ruby zipped around and looked at Chubs. "Chubs!" She exclaimed.

"I-I'm fine Ruby, just got a bit burned.." He said, giving a weak smile.

"Mr. Brooks, you will have to remove your shirt so I can apply the burn cream." Poppy said from behind them.

"And who are you?" He asked.

"Chubs, its okay, she helped us." Ruby said. Chubs shakily removed his shirt, wincing as his shirt touched the burns.

"Lay on your stomache and I shall apply the cream."

Charles turned over, and winced as he felt a hand apply the cream to the burns. 

The burns soon disappeared and he sat up, putting his shirt back on.

A teacher in emerald green robes walked into the hospital wing, holding an old looking hat.  "This is how you shall be sorted." She said, pulling a chair into the middle of the room. "There are four houses, Gryffindor: house of the brave and the courageous, Hufflepuff: House of the loyal and the kind, Ravenclaw: House of the smart and witty, and Slytherin: House of the sly and cunning.

"Zuzu Ni, come get sorted please." She asked the small girl kindly.

The small girl hopped off the bed where she was at and sat on the chair.

"Ah yes, Hufflepuff!" The hat yelled, the woman in green removed the hat, miling gently at Zu.

"Liam Stewart." She said, waving him over.

He slowly walked over to the hat and sat down.

"Gryffindor!" The hat yelled almost immediately. The older witch smiled brightly, removing the hat.

"Charles Brooks." She said, giving a small smile to Chubs.

He got up and made his way over to the hat. He sat on the chair and the hat wasn't even close to his head when it called out.

"Ravenclaw!!"

Ruby laughed lightly. "Of course you green!" She said, smiling at Chubs.

"Now, Ruby Daly."

Ruby walked over to the chair and sat down.

"Yes... I see.. Mhmm... I experienced the same thing with young Mister Potter... Gyrffindor!!" It called out.

"Now, I shall go collect a student each from each house you all have been sorted in." The woman said, she walked out and the four kids looked at eachother.

"Of course you get into the smart house Chubs." Ruby said laughing slightly.

Soon, the woman returned with four students. A girl with curley brown hair and brown eyes, a boy with black hair and green eyes both with red ties.

A girl with red hair and bright green eyes with a yellow tie.

And a girl with wavy platnium blond hair, and viberant blue eyes with a blue tie.

"This is Hermione Granger from Gyrffindor, Ms. Daly you shall be going with her to Diagon Alley." The girl with curley brown hair smiled at Ruby and Ruby waved at her.

"Harry Potter with Liam Stewart. Luna Lovegood with Charles Brooks. And  Zu Ni with Susan Bones. Well, off you go." She said.

Hermione looked at Ruby and smiled. "I'm Hermione Granger." She said smiling.

"I'm Ruby Daly. It's nice to meet you Hermione.." Ruby said smiling back.

"Well, come on Ruby! There is so much to show you!!" Hermione said smiling like an idiot. "Get into the fire place, we will be using a form of Wizarding Transportation called floo powder." She said.

Rubys slowly gets into the fireplace, Hermione walking behind her.

Hermione grabbed some of the floo powder and threw it on the ground. "Diagon Aleey!!" And they were off.
