How did you end up getting, what society called nowadays, a friend?

2 Hours Earlier

You were just walking around, having no damn idea where you were going, not caring where the hell you end up, until someone decided to ruin your peace with their horrible crying.

Not to be rude, but the person probably bawling their eyes out right now, didn't sound very pretty. You got curious, so you followed the noise. It led you to an alley way, where you saw a blonde haired girl, as you suspected, bawling her eyes out.

"Erm, wAsUp?", You said rather weirdly, since you barely even knew this girl, yet you wanted to comfort her.

The girl raised her head and sniffed (that coke jkjk).

"Who are you?", she asked.

You walked up to her and held out your hand like a dumbass.

"[Y/N] [L/N] at your service, stranger.", what the fuck did I just say?, you thought.

The girl giggled. She stood up and wiped her tears with her sleeve and sniffed once more. She giggled and shook your hand.

"Himiko Toga, nice to meet ya!~", the stranger, who you've come to terms with as Toga, giggled and smiled creepily, yet soothingly. For some reason you saw yourself still with her four years from now.

"Mind explaining to me why you were bawling your eyes out while walking with me to god knows where, or staying in this alleyway and probably having a 87% chance of getting jumped?", you asked with a slight smirk and a side of sarcasm.

"Pinky promise not to laugh at meeeeeee!!~", she practically yelled while holding out her pinky. Not like you cared though, if the people who live around here wake up, fuck it.

"I won't, I won't, I promise", you said while smiling and hooking your pinky with hers.

"Okay well....", she started explaining how her parents hated her when she asked them if a bloody and dead bird was pretty. How she attacked this kid named Saito, by using a box cutter and sticking a straw in his wound because she was in "love" with him. She then explained how he was much more handsome with all that blood all over him. Then explaining how she just ran away an hour ago.

"So, you stabbed a kid cause' you loved him?", you asked, trying to stifle your laughter.

"yEs, i FeLt lOve fOr hI- hEy you said you weren't gonna laughhhhhhh!!!~" , she exclaimed.

"I usually don't kee-", you stopped mid-sentence because then you burst out laughing.

"Hey! It's not that funnny~", she crossed her arms and pouted.

"How about I repay you with ice cream with a little bit of blood on top?", you asked smiling ear to ear. You gotta say, this is the first time you've ever been genuinely happy since the recent events that have been happening.

"Oooooo!~ Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!", she chanted, jumping up and down probably waking the whole city.

"Well then c'mon smiley", you said as you started walking to the nearest ice cream shop.

"Awwww I like that nickname!~", she squealed while following you.

You two started talking and laughing the night away without a care in the world. Perhaps you just found yourself a new best friend...

11 Years Later

"Ohhhhh Togaaaaa!!", you yelled through the apartment.

You guys decided to move in together because not only were you guys inseparable, but it would cost less, so she didn't have to pay the rent with the money she didn't have. Basically, you pay the rent, but you don't mind.

"I got the Chinese and pizza!!", you talked once more.

"fOoD gImmE!!!~", she yelled coming out of nowhere and snatching the food from your hand.

"Jeez someones on their period", you muttered quietly to yourself.

You and Toga were walking down the alley, the usual routine, when you heard some dude screaming.

"Ooooo~ I wonder if there's blood!?~", she squealed running in the direction of the screaming.

You followed after her and stopped when you saw a man, not to mention tall, with purple patches, and staples almost everywhere, burning a man to ashes.

"Do you mind keeping it down, his screams are kinda annoying!!", you yelled over the screams.

The man turned to you when he finished burning to what used to be a human being to ashes and looked straight into your eyes. Turquoise. T-

"Touya?", you whispered while your eyes widen.

"[Y/N]?" , he whispered at the same time.

The two of you decided to stare at each other until Toga broke the silence.

"Awww man!~ There isn't any blood!!~", Toga continued to whine and pout.
