Bright lights shone harshly at her blue eyes, making her squint as she stared above her. She groaned, feeling a sharp paid in her ribs as she tried to sit up a bit.
"Oh, my God. You're awake," she heard a male voice, the feeling of a hand wrapped around hers coming shortly after. Where am I? Who's in here with me?
She slowly turned her head to her left, a long haired brunette boy coming into her view. She furrowed her eyebrows, still confused. Her mind with completely blank.
"I'm so, so sorry, Sam," the boy started, confusing her further, "I don't know why I just let you—"
"Who are you?" she said, her voice raspy as can be.
The boy furrowed his eyebrows, staring at the girl in utter confusion. "What... What do you mean, Sam? It's me, David. Your..." he trailed off, the confused look still not leaving her face. He continued, "You don't.. You don't remember me?"
She exhaled a large breath she was holding. She shrugged, shaking her head side to side slightly. "Should I?" she asked.
If heartbreak could be plastered on someone's face, it would be his. He stared at his girlfriend, completely bewildered.
How could I let this happen to her?
"I'm going to get the doctor."
