Trusting Ashido

Steven's POV

I got up off my desk where i worked on my mask. I guess I overslept while trying to work on my helmet. So i got up and went to take a shower and began to think to myself about the past.I remember Manhattan. I remember screaming. I remember death. I remember Blackwatch. I growled at the thought of Blackwatch. Why did they do this? Why did they do this to me and Alex. I mean I understand why they did it to Alex but why me? Why was I so special to them? I got out of the shower and got dressed and I grabbed my bag for school and left home and this time I locked my door. As I walked to school I felt that I was being followed. I made a right turn and I used my peripheral vision and I saw Ashido. I sped up trying to lose her which I no luck of doing. Finally I made a wrong turn which led me to a deadend. I was cornered I turned around and I saw she standing in front of me.

Ashido: Steven why did you ask me if I knew about Blackwatch?

I stood there scared. Should I trust her? No I cant Alex always told me to never tell anyone my secret. So I made up a lie.

Steven: I was wondering if you knew about them that's all. I looked down.

Ashido: You're lying.

I stood there silent. I was scared. I already made a friend and I don't want them to be a target. I took a deep breath and looked at her in the eyes.

Steven: Ok I'll tell you but it has to be later after school.

Ashido: Um Steven today is Saturday.

When she told me that I mentally facepalmed myself.

Steven: Ok come on I'll tell you why at my house.

Ashido: Ok.

As went to my house we started to have small talk about how we were doing today and so much more until we reached my front door and I unlocked it for her to enter and she did and she saw everything the maps of all the Blackwatch bases, my helmet, all my pictures of me in New York and me with Alex, and my drawings of the interior of each Blackwatch bases. She turned around to face me and she saw me looking down. 

Ashido: Steven what is all of this? Why do you have a map of all the Blackwatch bases in the whole city? Who are you really? 

I sighed and told her to sit down on my couch and I sat beside her.

Steven: Have you ever heard of the car crash on December 18th 2019?

Ashido: You mean the one where a family of five all died? 

Steven: Yes but the real story is that there were actually six casualties.

She looked at me scared to ask me the question.

Ashido: Don't tell me you were the sixth person. 

Steven: I was. After the crash I was presumed dead to the world so I ran to another state called New York and there I met my teacher. The famous Alex Mercer. He took me under his wing and trained me how to use my powers and he told me to use them for the better good but while we were training one day Blackwatch tried to kill us both it had turned out that they were after me and him. They were trying to get rid of all the evidence of me and him. So we ran from them and we have been on the run from them for a month. We went our ways he told me that he would stay in New York while I come here to destroy Blackwatch's main base and save anyone else from being tested on like me and him. So I went to a school here and tried to get enrolled at UA to stay off the radar of Blackwatch but they know that I'm already a UA student. So you wanted to know the truth there you go.

She looked at me shocked out of her mind.

Ashido: I'm sorry I didn't know you were dealing with them like that. 

She looked down until I patted her on the back and I told her that its ok but I wanted her to not tell anyone else about what I said and she nodded and promised not to tell anyone. I asked if she wanted to hang out for awhile and she agreed to. After awhile she called her some of her friends to come to my place. With my permission of course and they showed up and we had a welcome party for me being a student at UA until it hit dark and Kirishima had an idea that we could do. 

Kirishima: Lets play spin the bottle!

We all nodded and we all took our turns until it was my turn. I grabbed the bottle and spun it and I watched it spin and after awhile it began to slow down and It landed on Ashido I looked at her and she looked back at me then we both got up and walked over to the closet and closed the door. I leaned against the wall thinking. 

Ashido: Steven we don't have to if you don't want to.

I sighed in relief. 

Steven: Thank you.

I mean I didn't want my first kiss taken by my friend I rather it be with the person that I love.

Steven: Ashido.

Ashido: Yeah? 

I leaned to her cheek and kissed it. I then felt her face heat up.

Steven: You ok?

Ashido: Y-yeah.

I opened the closet door and walked out and she followed behind me. I went to the kitchen and goy me a drink and went to my room and worked on my homework for school. after awhile everyone went home I was asleep in my room with my head on my desk until I heard my door open and I shot up and looked to see who it was. It was Ashido.

Steven: Oh hey I thought you went home?

Ashido: I was about to leave but I was wondering if I could stay here for the night? If your ok with that.

Steven: I don't mind I'll take the couch you can have my bed.  

I got up and grabbed a spare blanket and pillow and went to the doorway and told her goodnight and I went to the couch and layed down and went to sleep.

Ashido's POV

It was midnight and I couldn't get Steven off my mind. So I went down stairs and saw him sleeping like a baby. I smiled at him and leaned down and kiss his cheek and I went back to his room and went to sleep.
