New feelings

Hope POV

I flip through my book quickly as I huff in frustration and throw it on the table.
"Hope I need you!" I turn my head but I'm quickly pulled off my chair and dragged into the hallway. I look at who has pulled me along and see Josie.
"Josie" she pulls me faster until we enter the gym. I growl at her and she immediately lets go of my hand.
"Sorry" she says and I soften.
"What's up?" I say as she claps her hands.
"Please can you be my dance partner?"
"What?"
"Please" she gives me puppy dog eyes and I give in.
"Fine" I say and she laughs in excitement.
"Wait why am I your dance partner?"
"Well-" just as Josie was going to explain Lizzie walks in
"Ok everyone grab your dance partners and begin"
"What is going on?" I Say but Josie comes up to me and pulls me along.
"Just dance with me and follow my lead" I nod and I put my hand on her waist and the other in her hand. She leads me through the steps and soon we are both dancing together and in perfect sync. It's actually amazing because I've never danced with Josie before.
"So why am I dancing with you" I say coming closer to her face.
"Well I needed a dance partner and MJ and everyone else was busy"
"And I didn't look busy to you?" She looks me in my eyes, a shiver goes down my spine. I spin her
"You didn't look busy, were you?" I shake my head bringing her back to my body.
"To be honest I was bored"
"So I saved you from being bored huh?"
"I guess you did" we stare deep into each other eyes for a long time until I hear the music in the back fade.
"Well done everyone, especially Josie and-" Lizzie says rolling her eyes at me and shaking her head.
"Hope" She says almost spitting out every letter
"Lizzie, didn't your dad say to play nice?" She huffs and walks off. I smirk and look at Josie who's raising her eyebrow at me.
"What?" I say, she rolls her eyes.
"Why do you two always pecker?"
"I don't know " I say crossing my arms. She looks at me wanting me to say more but I just can't.
"Well I got to go Josie, it was fun dancing with you" she smiles
"Really?"
"Yeah and if you ever need a dance partner come find me" I say walking out smiling like an idiot. Why do I care so much about Josie? I shake all my thoughts out of my head and run to my next class.

The day seemed to go on forever as I felt myself become extremely tired. This is not normal for me I never feel like this, luckily it was the end of the day and I could go to my room and sleep.
"Hope" I hear someone says and I roll my eyes turning around.
"What" I say but I see my best friend Johnathan looking at me and I smile.
"Hey J "
"Damn you look tired" I nod my head yawning
"I am really tired" I nearly fall over as J grabs me and helps me stand up straight.
"I don't think this is a normal type of tiredness" he says and I shake my head.
"I'm fine I'm just going to go to bed"
"Are you sure?"
"JOHNATHAN COME OVER HERE!" One of the werewolves from his pack says.
"Go J" he nods his head giving my shoulder a good squeeze and runs off. I make it to my room when my head feels dizzy and my body felt like it was going to collapse and that's when it did. All I could remember was darkness but it was so peaceful.

"Hope hope hope hope" I feel someone slightly move my body as their voice is extremely soft as if they were far away but yet so close.
"No don't move nor touch her" I can't make out the words clearly but it sounds like a lot of people. I can feel the wolf inside me grow irritated.
"What do you mean?" I sweet voice says and I immediately whimper.
"Wait is she awake?"
"No Josie be careful" that's when my eyes shoot open and I jump with my eyes glowing and growling at the figure that I am now on top of.
"No one move!" I hear Mr. Saltzman's voice but my werewolf side has taken control. I look down at the figure and see that It is Josie. I immediately soften my wolf whimpering again this time a little louder. Josie's face is red as she tries to move but my legs are wrapped around her waist with my hands on her arms pinning them to her side on the ground.
"Hope" She says softly and I snap out of my gaze removing myself from her body with much difficulty. I don't want to leave her body as just being on top of her made me nervous and excited. Josie sits up and I put my head to the side.
"Agh dad?" She says and I look to my side to see everyone's eyes wide open.
"It's fine Josie" he shakes his head and looks at me.
"Hope are you alright?"  I nod, I still feel extremely tired because I was pulled out of my slumber.
"What happened?" I eventually say.
"Well Hope every 17 years tribrids tend to have a much-needed power nap, but the thing is I don't know how long you go to sleep for I just know that you tend to get very frustrated and angry when you wake up" I look at Josie. So why didn't I feel angry with you I Say to myself?
"Why didn't she attack Josie then?" Lizzie says looking at me with fire eyes.
"I don't know maybe hope thought she wasn't a threat, I don't know" Mr.Saltzman looks at me and I look down.
"Let's Let hope be everyone" he comes closer to me and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine" he nods his head and walks away and out of the door, Everyone else had left except for Josie who's still sitting in the same spot as before.
"Aren't you going to go?" I say sitting on my bed. Josie gets up and I thought she was going to leave but she takes a seat next to me.
"What?" I Say as she just stares at me.
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine...I mean I'm still exhausted"
"Why didn't you have a power nap" she says smiling and I laugh at her comment. I face her and come close to her face.
"I don't know you seemed to have woken me up"
"How did I do that?"
"I don't know as soon as I heard your voice I woke up" I looked at her as she looks down playing with her hands. I can sense that she is nervous.
"I'm just so tired" I Say almost whinnying at her.
"Then go to sleep"
"I can't"
"Why?" I lean in placing my lips on hers. I immediately feel my body relax and something inside me wants to never ever leave her lips like they were made to taste hers. It was a sweet lazy kiss due to me becoming sleepy but the passion was still there as Josie was kissing me back. Damn you wolf I could feel it taking control as I slowly pull away.
"Now I can" I say smiling as the darkness comes back and I fall down softly feeling at ease and comfortable, something I haven't felt in a very very long time.
