Hope POV

I see Lizzie on the floor her face in fear. I look to see Who is standing over her body only to be shocked.
"LIZZIE!" I hear Josie scream from behind me. Lizzie try's to get up but Rafael pushes her back down and growls at us. I should of know something was up with Rafael. I growl back at him and he looks at us.
"You know I tried and tried to get you two away from each other, but when I saw Josie and you walk into your room all lovey-dovey I knew I had failed"
"You've been watching us?" Josie says as I step in front of her protecting her. I growl again as it comes from deep in my throat.
"You are the figure I saw earlier"
"Yes, I've been watching you the whole time since your night in the kitchen to your first kiss and date"
"You were the figure I chased through the forest"
"Yes I was, You would have gotten me if it wasn't for my dogs going at Josie" I turn to look at Josie she shrugs her shoulders.
"What I told you I was chased, I didn't know what chased me" I look back at Rafael.
"Why Rafael"
"Cause I knew you were mated to a witch!" He points at me. I growl at him.
"And since everything else failed I will kill Lizzie pit of my frustration"
He grabs Lizzie and pulls her up but as he was about to sink his teeth into her neck I run at him and tackle him to the ground. I punch him twice in the face before he snarls his teeth at me and I hop off turning into my wolf. I growl loud at him and Rafael turns into his wolf. He growls back at me and I attack him sinking my teeth into his neck he pushes me off with his claws drawing blood in my skin. I jump at him grabbing him between my teeth and tossing him. He falls to the ground and I growl at him, challenging him more. He looks at me and then at Josie when his eyes look back at mine I know what he is thinking and I run to him but he sends me flying into the air as I hit the ground with a thud. I transform back into my human form and groan at the new pain in my side. I get up and see him by Josie. She has her back up against a wall and she looks terrified but also brave at the same time. She looks at me over Rafael and smiles nodding her head. She has three seconds to dive out and run to me and like that she reads my mind and dives running towards me. Rafael turns around but not fast enough and I turn into my wolf jumping over Josie and she skids under me falling down and I jump straight onto Rafael.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!" I look to see Mr.Saltzman and half of the school watching us. I look back at Rafael but he is already on top of me sinking his teeth into my neck as I whimper at the pain struggling to get him off of me.

Josie POV

A few minutes before.

As Hope jumps onto Rafael I make a run to get to Lizzie who is still laying on the ground. I fall to the ground on my knees and check her pulse. She's alive as she slowly opens her eyes and looks at me.
"Ouch" She says and I laugh. I then feel a stinging in my neck and I whimper at the pain of my mate mark. My eyes go light brown and glow my hands glow too.
"Josie?" My sister says but I ignore her slowly turning around to see Rafael sinking his teeth into my girlfriend and anger builds up inside me.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!" I hear my dad shout but I ignore him too and put my attention on Rafael. I put my hands up saying a spell and it sends Rafael flying as he lands in front of the main gate. I look down at Hope and she gets up shaking her head. She looks at me and I smile, but also wow. Hope turns around growling and I walk up to her. I move my hands getting ready to blast him again. Hope digs her claws into the ground I can ever hear the Gravel move under her paws. I look at her.
"Make sure your sister is safe, I'll take care of this" hope says but her mouth doesn't move. I can hear her thoughts. I nod my head and run back to my sister. As I fall to the ground again at Lizzie but I turn my head and look at Hope who has now transformed back into her human form, well it looks like her vampire is coming out too.
"YOU ARE NOT RAFAEL SO WHO ARE YOU!" Rafael stands up.
"SHOW YOURSELF YOU FUCKING COWARD!" He doesn't listen to hope and charges at her but before Hope can react he has hold of her and is now punching her. Hope kicks him off and punches him in his wolf face. Hop manages to look back and our eyes meet only for a split second before she is pulled and thrown across. I see her hit the pond water and disappear into the water. I don't think I just run. I run as fast as possible going on the dock still running I leap and do a dive. The water hits me and I swim seeing Hope's body I swim faster grabbing her by her shirt. She looks passed out. I make sure I have a nice grip on her and swim out. I pull Hope onto land and put her body down. I see MG and a few other vampires running towards us. I look at Hope but she is not waking up so I give her CPR until she coughs out water and I breathe out glad that she is ok. Then all of sudden Hope snaps at me with her wolf teeth and pushes me running back towards Rafael or whatever he is. I'm shocked but run after hope tackling her to the ground. I get on top of her as she continues to snap at me. I hold her down pinning her hands by her head.
"Hope it's me snap out of it!" I Say repeating it a few times before finally, hope realizes who I am and calms down.
"Josie?" I smile and get off of her sitting on the ground.
"I'm so sorry I-"
"It's ok Hope I'm just glad you are okay" I get up and look at all the commotion. I see a huge demon screaming at my dad who's busy shooting it. Looks like Rafael wasn't Rafael and is actually a demon. He tosses my dad across the grass and looks at my sister. He grabs her by the arm
"LET HER GO!" I see Johnathan trying to get Lizzie back but the demon just tosses Johnathan across the grass too. He looks back at my sister and snaps her arm than rage builds up inside me as he laughs at Lizzie's screams for help. I hear a growl next to me and look at Hope who is now back in her wolf form.
"Kill him" I say smoothly and she runs and charges at him. She leaps into the air and grabs him by the neck as the demon screams in pain. He drops Lizzie but Johnathan catches her and Carry's her away. I'm glad he was there to catch her and not make any more pain for Lizzie. Hope doesn't stop attacking him as she starts ripping his ugly skin off his body. I just watch her not moving. She rips more and more as the demon keeps on failing to get her off him. I see my dad and I run up to him finally finding my legs.
"Dad!"
"Wait!" He says grabbing me and pulling me behind him. He puts his gun up.
"Let's try this gun" he says turning on a button and it lights up blue.
"I need hope to move"
"HOPE MOVE!" MG shouts at her but it's no use Hope keeps going.
"HOPE!" I shout and she turns her head looking at me.
"Stop" She looks at me her face softening and she leaps into the air off of him. Hope turns back into a human and falls straight into the ground with a thud.
"Go back to hell!" My dad says pulling the trigger. It hits the demon and the demon screams in pain before exploding into dust. Everyone was quiet for just a second before I looked at Hope and she wasn't moving. My heart drops and I run over to her body falling to the ground pulling her body into my arms.
"Hope, it's ok you can wake up now" she doesn't respond as I feel the tears start to form in my eyes. I shake her gently but she still doesn't move.
"Hope no, please wake up" I Say now crying. After no response, I cry harder now but I feel my mark stinging a little and put my hand on my neck to feel it. It's hot as I look down at Hope and her mark on her wrist glows slightly before Hope gasps and starts coughing.
"Oh my god you are okay" I say holding her face. She smiles up at me her face bruised and her cheek bleeding and her lip were bleeding. She holds my hand that is on her face and closes her eyes. I shake my head.
"I thought you died"
"Me too" I laugh and she does too. I look deep into her eyes and she sits up connecting our lips together. It was a kiss that you get when you nearly lost someone and are holding onto them Incase you will never see them again. Her soft lips move against mine and I melt into the kiss pulling her closer.
"HOPE MIKAELSON THAT IS STILL MY DAUGHTER" we break apart and see my dad with his eyebrows in a frown looking down on us.
"Hi" she says and he rolls his eyes turning around to make sure my sister is ok. I look at Hope one more time before she gets up holding her side she holds out her other hand and I take it. She pulls me up and I wrap my arm around her helping her walk. We start walking into the school.
"I love you" hope says stopping and turning her head to look at me.
"I love you too Hope Mikaelson" we smile at each other as our heads touch and I close my eyes.
"Come on let's get you cleaned up" I say opening my eyes as she nods we continue walking.
