Smile, Katie.
"Nana, do you believe in magic?" old Katie glanced to her five year old granddaughter as she sat on the edge of its bed. She remembered that exact question, natanong na rin ito sakanya noon.
She smiled as she reminisce all those old memories of a boy she will never forget.
"I do, Lizzy. Nana believes in magic" she said smiling.
Do you wanna hear why I believe in magic and why I always smile?" Katie asked. Lizzy's head nod right away.
Then Katie smiled again as she remember those good old magical days.
She's just fourteen, too young to felt this kind of pain, too young to be left alone in a cruel world.
As time pass by it seems like she ran out of tears and she grew tired of crying, so she stopped. But the pain remained. The pain of the reality stick into her system as she glance to all wounds she got from the accident.
Katie's parents died in a car accident while they're driving home. She was sitting on the passenger seat and she can still recall how her parents argue infront of her.
She was somehow tired of it but if she could take back time, seeing her parents fight in front of her is more better than losing both of them.
They were hit by a truck and her mother died on the spot, while her father died during arrival and she was the only one who survived.
She hates it. The fact that she even survived. She wished she also died with her parents so that she wouldn't have to be alone.
From her bed she can see a boy who's sitting in her window and staring outside.
He has a black hair and a pointed nose."Hindi ka ba napapagod umiyak?" the boy's voice wasn't too deep, just average like any other guy from her age.
She didn't feel alarmed though he is a stranger.Katie never saw him before. And she has no idea how the hell did he get to her window.
"Sino ka? Anong kailangan mo?" she rose from her bed, she walk little closer towards the window where the boy is sitting.
He looks so innocent. So lovely.
"Do you believe in magic?" the boy asked.
She like the way he's brown eyes twinkle when it hit by the moonlight.
