When Patty Runs Away

Chapter 1: Death the Kid's point of view

"-and you're so immature!" "Liz screamed. "Haahaha, giraffes!" Patty laughed, although it was nervous. "Why do you always have to laugh at everything?" Liz said, exasperated. "..." Patty didn't know what to say. "Well? ANSWER ME!" Liz screamed. "..." Patty still didn't say anything. "You know what?" Liz said coldly, "Why don't you just leave." "FINE, I WILL! I'll show you, I'll go all by myself! I don't need you!" Patty yelled, surprising me and Liz. Patty ran off. Well, great. This is the 4th mission we've failed in a couple of weeks. I don't know what's up with this "sibling rivalry" thing, but it has to stop. "Liz, do you want to stay in the DWMA?" I asked Liz. "Yes, of course." "Well , then. How about we, actually, oh, I don't know, maybe, COMPLETE ONE STUPID MISSION?" I was very frustrated. "It's not my fault, it's Pattys," Liz stated, nonchalantly. I sighed. "Well, we are going to have to report what happened to my father."

"Hiya wazzap, Kiddo?" Lord Death, my father, sad to me when we walked in. "Oh? Where's your sister, "Liz?" my father asked. "..." I don't think it's a good idea to ignore Lord Death. "Father, Liz and Patty got into a fight and Patty ran off," I answered for Liz. "Oh, that's the 4th fight in 2 weeks. You guys better complete a mission or I'm going to have to send you on a special mission for failing students!" My father after his finger at us. "Ok, Father. We will try. But, first we have to find Patty." I responded. My father nodded his head and we left.

We'll, that went great." I sarcastically told Liz. When she didn't answer I turned on my heel to face her. She stopped dead in her tracks. "Why did you make Patty run away? Now we need to find her." I yelled. "I DON'T WANT TO FIND HER! I'M HAPPY SHE'S GONE!" Liz screamed. I turned around and started walking, briskly, towards my house. We didn't talk the whole way there.
