James's point of view:

I look toward Bobbie, she had a look of disbelief on her face. Anger starts to bubble up inside. I stand up knocking the table as I do. I just glare at him. He was the reason we were unhappy. He was the reason we had to hear our mom getting beaten in the middle of the night. He's dead to me. I grab my mom and my sisters and hand and just walk away. When we get outside they both look at me. " James, why'd you storm out like that?" Mom asks looking at me. " Because, no matter what he wants to believe, he will never be my father." I state still seething. " James, he is your father." Mom states looking at me, almost pleading.  " Then where was he when you were being abused, where was he when I had to comfort my baby sister in the middle of the night crying because she was having nightmares he was coming for her next. He should of been there to protect us, Mom, but he wasn' t. He's dead to me. " James lets just go inside and finish the rest of dinner." Bobbie suggests quietly. I look over at her and see her glossy eyes she always hated it when people yelled at her.

We all start to head inside, and I can't help it, I feel bad. Maybe he wanted to get to know us. I smile slightly at him while sitting down. He smiles back and for some reason I start to get the feeling he'll be the one to save us.

Brier's point of view:

The rest of dinner goes off without a hitch. Niall and the twins bonded and they all look happy. This was the first time in forever I had heard Bobbie's laugh. Honestly one of the most beautiful things in the world. We were now driving home. When we get there the twins both hug their father and make plans to see each other the next day.

Bobbie's point of view:

We say bye to dad and walk inside. " WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?"
