Chapter 13

Valerie's POV

I woke up with a gasp, I thought it was all just a dream...I guess it wasn't.

I was tied to a chair, the room was dark, and I couldn't see anything, but a little bit of light from the street...I'm guessing it's night.

If this woman wanted me so bad she wouldn't have me tied like this, she wouldn't have ropes dig into my wrists, she wouldn't have me starving.

The door suddenly burst open and the room lit up like a candle. I could see a bed and a couple drawers. The room was way bigger then I thought...this woman really wasn't kidding when she said she had all the money in the world.

Another man stood there. How many workers does she have? He was tall with brown eyes and brown hair and he began walking over to me and took off the rope carefully to not hurt me, he was actually really cute, he just stared down into my eyes and smiled. He would be really attractive if he didn't work to kidnap people. I stood up and he was way taller than me. "Sorry that we tied you up like that we didn't want you to freak out and make a run for it." The man said. "It's okay" I said softly

As quick as lighting I pushed him out the way and ran towards the door, but when I reached the top of the stairs there was another man waiting there.

"Where do you think your going?" The woman said walking towards the door with an apple in her hand.

"Uhh no where I just had to pee" I said lying, but I knew it sounded retarded.

"You can stop trying to lie, your never going to leave my house. I have guards everywhere and we can have mother daughter bond when ever you want, but you make any little mistake and there's no going back... ohh and about school don't worry your parents are probably going to report you missing, but were far far away from your home so you don't have to go to school. I think you like the idea about not going to school anyways." The woman said confident.

"Why am I here and why can't I go if you even said you liked me" I said

"Didn't you understand anything about the long story I told you" the woman said.

"I did, but I still don't get why I can't just leave just let me go and I won't say anything." I said

"SAY ANYTHING? What do you mean say anything the only people getting in big trouble are your parents...they are murders, so if you leave I will report the murder, they are going to pay way worse then me kidnapping you and also you and your siblings will have to be put up for foster care or adoption because there probably going to get life in prison and you don't even have family to take care of you." The woman said yelling at first but then calmed down. I couldn't even say anything I was so frightened at the thought so if I even leave she's going to take me from those homes anyways and also my parents will have to pay big time. I guess I'm staying here for the rest of my miserable life....
