the pained azure hedgehog finally managed to get up after some time so he dragged himself downstairs to find his two tailed best friend and roomate baking pancakes as he hummed to himself.
sonic immediately went over to their pantry too busy digging through bottles of pills and medicine to even say a simple 'good morning.'
"good morning to you too, sonic." tails laughed flipping a pancake on the pan he cooked on with a rubber spatula.
"yeah good morning bro," sonic said not noticing the others sarcasm as he picked up a bottle of pills to examine it, he set it down once he read the label noticing it wasn't what he needed. "by the way tails, do we have any pain killers?"
"Uhh, we should have some ibuprofen in the back of the cabnit somewhere," Tails said. "Why?"
"Well, my back hurts for no fucking reason." Sonic replied honestly. He dug around and found the bottle behind a bag of Cheetos. He exclaimed to himself happily and opened the cap.
"Weird." Tails mumbled.
"Right?"
"You probably slept on the bed wrong." Was Tails' conclusion. It made sense in a way, Sonic sometimes had problems with his mattress.
"Perhaps." Sonic agreed taking the pill in his mouth and swallowing it whole where he walked out into the kitchen.
"Anyways come eat some pancakes i need you to go shopping for me."
Sonic groaned after Tails said that.
"Can't you go?"
"Can't. Busy with my latest invention."
"Lame. You're just lazy."
"Look who's talking!"
The two laughed it off and took 3 pancakes each onto their plate and sat down on their kitchen table where they talked as they ate syrup filled pancakes, Sonic not knowing that his life was in danger.
