“Look who decided to show up.” This bully thinks I’m weak. I don’t have time to entertain her crap. Besides, she’d been doing this for a year or so now. Why bother, it’s not like she will suddenly stop if I talk back. For all I know, she might even start to make it more of a big deal.

“Who else? It’s the weird little girl!” People around us in the hallway started laughing. Weird? Ha, I don’t think so.

I didn’t mind their laughs and stares, instead, I walked straight pass her. I really don’t want to deal with her right now. I have a test in calculus in an hour. I’ve wasted enough time and brain cell reviewing the bloody subject. I don’t want to waste my remaining brain cells dealing with this bully.

“How dare you walk away like that? We’re not yet done.” I stopped her hand before it could even land on my face. I push her hand away.

“Seriously? Don’t you have anything else better to do?” I look straight her eyes and she started walking away. I sighed. How I wish bullies would simply just stop and not wait for the bullied to speak up.

“I wish I could do that too.” A girl with eyeglasses and few books was amazed by what I did. I saw her before, being bullied by the same person. I hope she won’t let the bully get to her like that again. But who could I blame? The bullied? The bully? It’s unending, but how I wish it would stop.

I sighed and gave her a smile.

I walked to the garden. I needed somewhere relaxing. I was contemplating whether I go to the library or the garden, but garden it is. Not that the library isn’t relaxing. I just don’t want to deal with people after what happened. Besides, a person or two only goes here. I think.

“Hey, kid.” I said, trying to get the kid’s attention which I succeeded.

“Hello!” She greeted me with a huge smile and smiling eyes. Such a cute kid she is. What is a kid doing here, though? A parent visiting the school let the kid wander? Or is she, I don't know, lives near the campus?

“Seems like you’re having a hard time catching that butterfly.” I point to the butterfly and she nods.

“Need some help?” I smile at her.

“Really? Well, it’s not hard to catch the butterfly. I'm just too small.” She defended herself even though no defense is needed. Kids tend to be like that, trying to build up a reputation. How silly.

“Yeah, let’s go?” I stand slowly to not bother the butterflies. With just a few tries, I caught one.

“Look at what I caught.” I said. I picked up a jar, which is probably owned by the gardener, and put the butterfly in there.

“It’s so beautiful! Thank you!” She said and hopped away from me. She held the jar as near her as she could possibly could.

I sit back down the bench and get my notebook out my bag. I want to draw these butterflies flying around me. This is so wonderful. It might take my mind off the test for a while too. Calculus is bloody hard, I mean, I’m good with math but not that part of math.

“I want to see you dead because of what you did back there. You humiliated me.” A familiar voice said. Oh, here we go again with this? I didn’t mind, I continued sketching away in my notebook.

“I’m talking to you!” She grabbed my hand and threw my things away.

“Okay.” I looked at her with no emotion. What is her problem?

“Don’t you wanna say anything before you die?” She fished out a knife out her bag. Is she thinking I am scared of that thing? I laughed, this is getting silly.
