The Chronicles of Dvalinn

Preface

To begin this chronicling, I find it necessary to clarify some things and issue some disclaimers.

First, I am not the owner of this story nor the original poster. Niyeban was the original poster and she also wrote the everything up to chapter 1 (and half of that). She transferred it to me as she became busy editing for half of Wattpad (that's a lie. Probably at least a quarter of it). However, the story originates from a role-play channel on a Discord server. Its nature is that of communal storytelling. The ideas do not all belong to any one person, and so the property rights to it belong to all participants, communally. Nonetheless, I have been given permission rights from all involved to create a compilation of what has happened in the form of comprehensive chapters available for public viewing.

Second, what you will be reading is, for all intents and purposes, the unadulterated storyline and narrative of the role-play channel. I will not be changing the plot, nor will I change aspects of character identity. I have gained approval for editing content for grammar, though I will not be making changes to any dialectical differences in speech patterns. Additionally, I have gained approval for increasing description and imagery within the existing narrative to make it more appealing to public audiences.

Information concerning the participants of the role-play channel, the nature of the Discord server, the nature of the role-play channel, and ways to join the narrative yourself will be posted and kept up-to-date on a chapter I will always keep at the end of this work. The role-play was constructed for our personal enjoyment, but these records are made for yours. We hope that you are inspired and motivated by our creations.
