"one minute late" huh, i broke out of the my daze  when he said that.

i had never felt so embarrassed in my entire life. ok maybe i had when i did the chicken dance in front of the entire cafee or maybe when i spilled coffee on the hottest guy in school and he looked at me as if i was an alien or maybe when i got drunk and started crying about the toothfairy not visiting me when i was a baby.... yeah i had pretty embarrassing moments but nothing like the present.

you had to make a fool out of yourself in front of him  .

"sorry sir i was engaged with your watchman"

"what are you saying miss Jade " his face changing from an angry to amuse expression.

why was he amused? what did i say that was soo funny. " holy cow" i said as soon as  i realized my mistake."i mean sorry sir - i was engaged in a conversation with your watchman" i quickly corrected myself.

"in any case ms  Jade i dont like people who are late on an important day take for example job interviews"

he was talking about me and that made me realise what an arrogant bastard he was .  A really handsome arrogant bastard. I was as red as a tomato due to embarrassment and anger . Who did he think he was.God. But then again he was 'the god' so his ego and attitude was considerable .

"sorry sir i wont be late again"

"That is if you get the job Ms Jade." He said nonchalantly.
"Tell me what is it that you have that makes you eligible to be my PA " he was looking at me expectedly.
I sucked in a deep breath and said " well for starters you must have seen my resume sir so you know I am an experienced PA , PS and also have completed my MBA with rank 1. Apart from my resume thought I  am very sincere and hard-working person . once I set my mind on something I get it. And also I am no nonsense professional sort of person who minds her own business. " I ended proudly . I knew I didn't stand a chance in front of this man whore who only appoints barbies. But I wasn't gonna let him step over me.

I was doomed because if I thought I didn't stand a chance earlier then now I didn't stand a chance even if I were the last PA on earth.
Shit Jade told you it was important . you know what happens to Lilly  if we fail.
Oh my god . I really didn't think this through . I looked up to apologise but he was smiling down at me . A part of me was relieved thinking I still had a chance thought other still nervous.
"Say something " I realised that I had thought out loud. " sorry , I mean I ... shit"  I sighed deeply before shutting my mouth. If I was red before than I didn't knew my color now.
He started laughing . it was a very smooth and melodious laugh. Hmm I could keep listening to it .

"You are cute Ms Jade " and here comes the tomato Lexi again. Well how do I respond to that.
"Take a seat Ms Jade." And I did cause my legs were already feeling weak.
"So have you been included in any of the meetings in your previous job"
"Yes , actually I have been the one to  start meetings most of the times " I managed a smile.
" and why are you changing jobs " he asked and I stopped breathing . omg what if he knew why I was here. No that couldn't happen. Get a grip .
"Personal reasons" I said and thank God he dropped the topic.
"Okay, now since you are an MBA student what do you expect your job to be like" he asked
" I will work as per your requirements , there are no expectations as such though in my past jobs I had been taken to business meetings due to my MBA degree and my opinions were considered important. "
"So you want to be a partner in business huh"he asked . his face not giving away anything.
" no sir  , I only helped because I had been a business consultant as well " I said embarrassed.
" OK Ms Jade you may go now. "
Huh that's it . based upon his last comment I didn't think he liked me much.
I am screwed . I managed a thank you before scrambling off the room.
The barbie PS was standing outside with a smug expression " I think you angered him now I'll have to calm him down" she said and went inside.
I knew he was a whore and so it was understandable that he would only appoint sluts.

I know .  I'm doomed . He will kill me if I don't get the job and you know I'll never agree to his condition two .

But at least we tried .

I know but it's either get the job or that and if I didn't agree two any of these I would definitely die.

and with the hope that my brain was right  I dragged my sorry ass back to the parking glaring at that fucking idiot  watchman. As soon as I went inside my car as and opened my phone to search for the nearest bakery my screen lit with yet another unknown number
I gulped in fear as I pressed answer
"How was the interview dear"

"It was good " I lied confidently.

"It better be" and the line went dead.
 
Shook by his words I decided that only food was gonna help me heal .

I went to the nearest restaurant and ate two extra cheese burgers along with a choco lava cake and extra large fries. I was able to think straight only after my tummy was satisfied.

I will not let either of them destroy me. Even if I don't get this job and that phone bastard doesn't help me  I'll still manage .

Yes , you can work double shift and sell the house and then we'll have enough money for Lilly's treatment.

Right . And mum can work from home . we'll survive without anyone else.

I knew my inner self was right . we could do much better without getting into any problems. So what if I have to sell my house . I would do anything for my sister.

I was thankful to God and food that I got a solution.
