Thor Odinson {Learning to be mortal}

I waited in the kitchen for Thor to come in. I made coffee and was watching tv when Thor walked in "Hello lady Y/n" I turn towards him "Lower your voice" I chuckled and he nodded "You need to change so you can fit in when we leave" He looked confused "Change into what" I sighed and walked into his room and came back and gave him clothes "Go change" He took off his armor and laid them on the table and walked into a bathroom. He came back out in regular clothes "Ok, better" I chuckled and he walked towards me "Where are we going today" I looked up at him and thought for a moment "Coffee shop or movie theater" he thought for a moment "how about both" I looked at Thor and nodded so we were heading to the movies. "Thor try and stay calm and don't say anything weird" he nodded and we left.

When we got to the movie theater, he was happy "Do you wanna watch in 2d or 3d?" he looked confused "2d is when its just on the screen and 3d is went it pops towards us." he nodded "Lets watch in 3d" I nodded and walked up to the booth and got two tickets "Thor do you want snacks for the movie?" he nodded and we walked over to the snacks and he whispered to me "I do not know what these snakes are" I nodded "I'll get a f/s and f/d please and he would like a f/d and popcorn" He nodded in approval "Thanks" he whispered to me and I nodded and we walked into the left section 1 door 5 to watch our movie. We sat at (Your choice) and the credits just finished rolling so the movie had just started. Once I got comfortable I didn't realize I started leaning on Thor's shoulder until I felt him lay his head on mine.

After watching the movie we went to the coffee shop down the street. Thor looked amazed at all the choices, I ordered f/d and looked at Thor "What would you like?" he looked at me "Um I'll have the same as Y/n" the cashier nodded "Is that all" he said looking me up and down, I started to feel a little uncomfortable, I nodded "That will be $7.54" I pulled out a $10 "I should get $2.46 back" He nodded and handed me the amount. Me and Thor sat down and waited for our order, the same guy from the cashier walked over to us with our drink and winked at me which made me cringe 'he doesn't even know me, he probably sees me as a piece of meat' I thought Thor grabbed my hand "What's wrong" he asked curious "just the guy from the cashier is making me uncomfortable" he nodded "Would you like me to say something" I looked at him in the eye to see a sign of joking but all I saw was carrying I laughed and shook my head.

"Don't worry about it" I looked down at our hands with his on top of mine and I looked over at the cashier and he looked pissed. "Thor?" He looked at our hands "Sorry Y/n" he pulled his hands away and I grabbed them back "No don't be sorry, your acting like a normal person, being protective of your friend and carrying on how I feel" I said smiling and he smiled "Well I try" I nod and finish my drink. "Like your drink?" he nodded "Thank you Y/n" I nodded "No problem" I got up and threw away my cup and felt someone tap my shoulder so I turn around to see the cashier again "Sir what do you want, you have been watching me and staring me up and down this hole time I have been here" He smirked and started to lean in but he got thrown backwards "Leave her alone" Thor said as he put his arm around me protectively and the cashier looked at me and then Thor and laughed and mumbled something that made Thor mad so I stopped him from walking up to the cashier and we left to walked around town to make him seem normal but what even is normal. We started walking on a beach.

"Thor?" He looked at me "Yeah" I sighed "What you did back their made you seem like a protective boyfriend in their." He rubbed the back of his neck "Um I guess I knew what I was doing" I got confused "What do you mean?" He walked closer to me and put his hand on me cheek "I mean I know what I was doing just like in the movie theater" I got confused "What?" he sighed "I like that you have taken the time to make me understand what its like to be mortal, I like that you took me to the movies and showed me the snacks and drinks that are good, and I like that you showed me good coffee, you have taken this hole day just to help me. Like in the theater you layed on me, like when you told me how that cashier was making you feel, and even now walking on the beach with me while the sun sets. I understand why people always go with someone places" I looked up at him "What do you understand?" He smirked "I understand why male people bring females with them, so they can do this" and he leaned down towards my lips ad brushed them.

I closed the gap between us and put my arms around his neck as his got placed around my waist. We stood in the middle of the beach making out when it was dusk out. We pulled away and continued to walk across the beach then went back on the side walk and started to walk back to the tower to see everyone already their. We walked into the elevator hand in hand, we walked into the living room to see Clint, Nat, Steve, Wanda, and Tony. "What happened while you were helping Thor fit in with being mortal?" Nat said smirking and I looked at Thor "Well someone got protective when a guy wouldn't leave me alone and he stood up for me and almost kicked their ass but I got him out in time, then we walked on the beach and he really did good today" He smiled "Well I had a good day but it had to come to a end" and he started looked down at me and I was looking at the group "Your right it was a good day" I smiled and let go of his hand and walked upstairs.

I felt someone grab me and spun me to face then and I saw beautiful blue eyes and I knew it was Thor "Yes?" he sighed and looked down at me with something in his eyes I couldn't tell what it was "I was protective for a reason" I rose a brow "And why was that" he slowly leaned "you should know why lady Y/n" I put my arms around him neck "Why don't you show me what was the reason" He close the gap between us and had his hands around my waist. I got my fingers tangled in his hair and I felt him gripping my shirt. He picked me up and lead me to my room and I thought 'I got myself into this and this time I wanna stay with it'
