As people struggling to find the love of their lives,
Some might travel a long way,
Some might endure alot of pain,
and some might give up everything to earn one.
But what if TRUE LOVE doesn't need struggling?
And does TRUE LOVE really exist?
I clasp the flask betwwen my hands even though the warmth from the tea has long since leached into the frozen air. I dont know why is it so cold around here in Thailand.
My muscles are clenched tight against the cold.
Anyways, My name is Philip Villafuerte, Twenty two years old,I'm a Filipino who lives alone in Thailand, I used to work as a businessman. Fired by my grumpy boss and I don't even know why.
So here is my Amazing True Story. :")
Chapter 1: Alone
December 31, 2014, New year's eve. Watching the fireworks alone. Again.
Thinking why am I so lonely and sitting here alone watching those boring fireworks makes me depress. Seeing other people with their families, friends and love ones makes me really sad :(
I just don't know how to control my feelings. My parents still don't know that I already have no job and I don't want them to be very disappointed at me.
All I just wanna do is to curse all the people here in the world because of this nonsense life.
"Bobo!" I shouted with force.
I saw a girl smiling at me with those chinita eyes, Knowing that she's a thai, and suddenly asked me,
"What is bobo?"
I looked at her eyes with anger, She looked away and she then starts to walk away an inch and started to watch the fireworks again.
I stand up and starts to ride the train to go home in my apartment.
I live in my apartment where there is also Filipinos living there. I met a boy named Bob, he is very hardworking and also lives alone here in Thailand,I always see him outside the apartment, his right eye is blind and always have a picture of his wife daughter at his hand.
I then went to the bathroom and take a bath, brush my teeth and started to tuck myself into the bed. closed my eyes.
The Next day....
I soon wake up and started to do the same thing and went outside to search for a new job I can handle.
As soon as I ride into the bus, I saw the girl from last night waving something in her right hand, a yellow flag...
She saw me and suddenly looked away again like their is something wrong in my face.
I sitted at the back of the bus, it was full of people and I saw her standing, holding at the railings.
"Hey, you can take my seat if you want." -- I said
"No no it's okay." -She replied.
I stood up and grabbed her hand and let her sit.
"There." I said.
