Looking around my empty apartment I felt a heap sadness come over me I was not ready to leave the Bay but it was time to go. My brother Trey was moving to New York and dragged me and my sister Ry along with him.. even though we were grow he still looks at us like his baby sisters he had had to raise after our parents died. He wasn't leaving us across the country.
"Yo skye, you ready to go? The Uber is waiting outside." Yea I'm ready. I grabbed my suit case and was ready to go to the airport. As I got into the Lyft and was on our way to the airport Ryan kept staring at me with this annoyingly curious look on her face..
"What?" I asked as I began to furrow my eyebrows
"You don't want to go. Do you?"
"No. I don't really see the point Ry, my whole life is here."
"Skye. Nothing is here but bad memories and Luke.. who if I remember correctly broke up with you two weeks ago. Little sister You have to let go of the past and focus on the future."
Luke was my first love.. after high school he started college and things started to get complicated, he didn't like me modeling but always said I had no niche or passion to do anything.. I don't know if he was right or not, now we aren't together at all. After Luke found out I was moving he thought there was no point in "dragging a dying relationship." That broke me.. I think I'm ready to move on but not from what we had.
"That's not the point ! I snapped at her. My future is here.. my job is here now I have to start all over again.. it was hard for me to get that gig. It's hard to get any gig.. what do I do now?"
"Skye, modeling isn't the only option. You have an amazing voice and you're moving to New York I'm pretty sure there are tons of modeling gigs; you have options girl lighten the fuck up our brother is trey songz you can jump on a track for free."
Me, Ry, and T could all sing but I was shy and liked to model. So did Ryan;Trey was the only one that pursued a singing Career.
We arrived at the airport and got our first class seats . I put my beats headphones on and began to play Make you feel by Alina Baraz witch made me drift off to sleep.
Five hours later
"Skye wake up we're here"
As I looked up I saw that we were at the house T had bought for us to live in it was cute..

"Skye,Get dressed T wants us to meet him at the Yo!" (Studio) "Ight I'm about to get in the shower!" I went to the bathroom to take care of my hygiene then I pick out my outfit to wear. I wanted to wear something fye because at the end of the day I was single and in New York.. I was comfortable with it now. This is about to be a long ride..
