I surprisingly slept very well, for the condition I was in. I did overthink what he said after he left my room, how tomorrow (now today) will make me lose trust in him. I don't think I really have much trust in him in the first place, why would he say that I won't trust him even more? Despite all those thoughts, my body gave in and fell asleep. I was exhausted and drained, I needed to sleep no matter how much I fought it.
I don't know what time it is. Hell, I don't even know what day it is anymore. Allowing my eyes to wonder around the room again, it seems as if this room was built to hold someone in.
Just thinking of that makes me shiver.
I shift my body so my legs are dangling off the bed and I push myself off slowly, not wanting to fall since I've been bed ridden for god only knows how long.
I stand up, I'm shocked at how well my legs feel. I guess I wasn't in bed for as long as I thought... I walk along the room, touching everything as if to see if they're real. There isn't even a sign that there used to be a window here. I've noticed that there is a light on the ceiling, but after I explored the room, no light switch seems to be connected.
"What a useless light..." I mumble aloud.
Right after I said that, the light turns on. Due to the sudden wave of light and being in the dark for so long, I quickly shut my eyes. Slowly opening them, I finally get used to the room in its full glory.
How the hell did it turn on? Is it voice activated or something?
Once again, I hear those same foot steps outside my door. I stand still in my place near a corner of the room and watch as Alex walks through the door.
"May, please come with me," He pauses when he notices me in the corner "come on, you don't have to be scared." Alex sighs as he makes his way towards me.
I cower more into the corner. I'm just so afraid of what today brings from his words last night.
I hear him snicker as he looks at me, just inches away from me.
"I see you learned how to use your legs again," Alex squats down to meet my height "that makes things easier for me, only if you cooperate though." He taps my nose and bounces up to his usual height. "We have to go do something really fast, okay?"
I have no idea how I'm supposed to react, I don't want to go with him but i need to get out of this room.
I slowly nod my head and gulp. I cautiously straighten up and wait for him to start walking while I rub my arm nervously.
Alex gently takes my hand and guides me out of the door. I have no time or willpower to object to his touch.
The hallways is the same as the room. Dark. Plain. Suffocating.
I begin to walk faster behind him, trying to match his long strides (also to get out of this hallway!).
I squint my eyes to look ahead of my capturer and see that there are stairs leading upwards in front of us.
"Are you good to walk up stairs?" He asks, looking back at me. All I do is nod and he continues ahead.
We begin to walk up the flight of stairs. That was the tallest set of stairs I've ever climbed, I felt a burn in my legs when we finally stopped at the top landing.
Another door was in front of me.
Alex lets go of my hand and takes out a keychain full of different sized keys.
Why does my hand feel cold?
He took off the biggest key and inserted it into the keyhole before turning it to the right.
