Love Happens.

Chapter Six - The Date.

Well, today's the day. I finally get to go on a date with him. I honestly never expected this to happen. I checked the time. It was 1 PM. I was getting picked up at 6. What am I supposed to wear? He didn't tell me where we were going! I decided on texting him and asking.

"Hey Harry! Where are we going tonight?"

I waited for him to text back, and after about thirty seconds, my phone beeped.

"Hello Love! It's a surprise! Just wear something casual!"

"Thank you Harry! See you soon! (:"

"Goodbye Love, see you in a few hours!"

I decided it would be a good idea to pick out my outfit now, so I'm not rushing later. I walked over to my closet and saw tons of blouses, but there was one thing that really caught my eye. It was a white dress. It was very casual. It was perfect. I had just bought it, so I've never worn it before. I walked over and set it onto my bed and found a pair of beige flats, a cross ring, some bracelets, and a cute matching purse. I set all of these items onto my bed and decided to go out with Eleanor for a little while. Oh, did I mention she's staying at my house?

It is now 5 PM. I think I should start getting ready. I walked upstairs and hopped into the shower. When I got out, I blow dried my hair, leaving it with its natural waves. I put on my mascara, and my eyeliner on the top and bottom part of my eye. I put a little bit of neutral color eye shadow on as well. It was just a little lighter than my skin tone and sparkles a bit. It was now 5:45...and I haven't even gotten dressed yet. Good think I got everything ready earlier. I walked over to my dresser and put on my undergarments and then slipped on my dress. The dress stops about 1/4 of the way down my upper thy, and zips at the top in the front. I personally like it. I slipped on my beige flats, put on my ring and bracelets, and put some money and my cell phone inside.

I walked back over to my dresser and put on some nice smelling fragrance, and walked over to the guest room, where Eleanor stays, and knocked on the door. She quickly said "Come in!" knowing it was me, because my brother and parents were out of town for my father's business trip. It took a lot to convince them to let me stay here. Anyways, I walked in and she was playing around on her laptop.

I said, "Hey El! What do you think?"m

"Oh my gosh Jen! That's gorgeous!"

"Do you think he'll like it?"

"Love it."

"Really?"

"Yes, really! Would I lie about that? No."

"Whatever. I'm going downstairs."

"I'll come with!"

Right as we got downstairs, the doorbell rang.

"Wow does he have good timing or what!" Eleanor said, and I just laughed.

I opened the door to reveal him. He was wearing jeans, his usual shoes, and a flannel shirt, that looked very good on him.

"Hi!" I said to him.

"Hey babe! You look...amazing."

"You're looking good yourself!."

"Ready for our date?"

"I sure am!"

I grabbed my leather jacket from the coat rack next to the door, said bye to Eleanor, as did Harry, and we were on our way.

"So where are we going?"

"Like I said earlier! It's a surprise."

"There's no arguing with you."

"You're right about that."

We finally got to where we were going and he stopped the car, and came over and opened my door for me. I looked up after getting out. He brought me to the bridge at the park, which was filled with amazing lights and one little table for two in the middle. Boy, he must really like me if he did all of this. The park was empty and he had music playing from his phone most of the time.

"Wow..Harry...This is..amazing. How did you do it?"

"And why would I tell you my secret?" He said with a wink at the end.

"Fine." I said, and he took my hand and led me to my seat at the table.

After about an hour of us laughing and getting on real well, he suddenly said,

"Jennifer, I really like you... will you be my girlfriend?"

"Oh course Harry, I really like you too."

We both giggled and he stood up and said,

"Care to dance?"

"I would love to."

He took my hand and put his arms around my waist, while mine were locked around his neck.We were looking deep into eachother's eyes, with slight smiles on our faces. We were swaying along to the music, which was now playing "This" by Ed Sheeran, when he leaned forward and kissed me so passionately, you could tell he really cares. It was nothing more than a simple, sweet kiss, that made my heart flutter. We broke apart and i rested my head on his shoulder, with my face fitting perfectly into his neck.

On the way home, we just talked about us. I don't know, but being with him just feels so right. I could already tell that I love him, and he made it quite obvious that he loves me. This night was going amazing.

We were almost back to my house by now..I wasn't looking forwards to going home just quite yet. I wanted this night to keep on going.

When we got back to my house, he walked me up to my door. I invited him inside, but he said he couldn't because he needed to get back home.

"Thank you Harry.. I had an amazing night."

"So did I. I'm glad I got to spend it with you.'

He leaned down and kissed me lightly before saying, "I have to get going now.."

I smiled a little and then bit my lip on the side and said, "Bye Harry."

And with that, he kissed me again and was on his way.

I've been so busy with school and homework and everything I haven't really had time to write much, so I've been writing bits and pieces of this chapter at a time, just hoping to finish it.
