Arrow's POV
 
  "Look at me," he said, pulling my face up. He was taller than me. Around 6" 3' maybe. I wasn't used to being smaller than someone since I was 5. "Hmm, what's your name?" he asked. I jerked my head away. "Answer me," he said, threateningly. "No," I answered. He kicked me at least 10 times in the stomach.

  I felt something warm and wet come out of my mouth. After he left, locking the door to the basement, I wiped it off. I could just barely make out what it was. Luckily, I was part wolf, so I saw what it was. It was blood. Strange, the last time I remember bleeding was when I was little and got beat. I pulled my hood over my head and leaned against the wall, staring at the ceiling.

~Time Skip~

  Its been a week . I've had no food or water. I was laying on the cold floor of the basement in my wolf form. I had my clothes in the corner. Then he appeared. I immediately jumped up, tail wagging. He looked around. "So this is where he's keeping you?" he asked. Since I was in my wolf, all I could do was nod. "Its cold," he said. Then, the man walked in. Axel disappeared. "You ready to talk?" he asked. I nodded. "Ok, turn into your human form," he said, turning around.

  I transformed and quickly put my clothes on. "O-ok," I said. He turned back around. "Sit," he said. I sat criss-cross on the floor. "Ok, name?" he asked. "Arrow," I answered. "Ok, how old are you?" he asked. "18," I replied. "Ok," he said. He then left. I realized he didn't lock the door. I heard him leave the house.

  I left the basement. I saw a window leading to the forest. I went and opened the window. I jumped out and ran towards the forest. I transformed. I stopped when I saw a lone wolf. Did I mention that all wolves can hear each other's thoughts? No? Well, we can. I walked up to her. Hey, I thought. She jumped and looked at me. Then she calmed down. Sorry, you scared me, she thought back.

  Its ok, I thought, although, what are you doin' out here all alone, I thought, cocking my head. And what's your name? I asked. Kate, she replied, and yours? she asked. Arrow, I replied. Wanna go to my pack with me? I asked. I saw her hesitate. You don't have to, I told her. Can I think about it? she asked. Yeah, of course. I'll leave a trail for you if you want, I said. Sure, she replied. I ran off, making sure to rub against the trees.

  When I got back to camp, everyone was so excited. Then, suddenly, they all looked behind me. I turned around and there was Kate. I went up to her. She looked scared. You ok? I asked. Y-yeah, just shy, she replied. Let's go change back, I said. O-ok, she said. She went to the forest, while I walked back to my house. I transformed into my human form and got dressed. I walked out and saw Kate waiting for me. I called a pack meeting.
