Everyone's been told that you'll get someone to love you and stay with you for the rest of your life. Well for a short term you'll get a soulmate and of course there are some people who ignore that and just call it a fake story adults are telling them. Well for this world that's there life and no it's not a fantasy where there's some Prince Charming and perfect princess that's cursed. For this world they are born with an eye color that matches there soul mates favorite color. Now this isn't perfect because just like in real life people will get divorces or just can't feel anything. Those people will have light colored eye's where there color used to be other people can get dark black eye's and that means there heart has been broken so many times they just can't love anymore. If those people do find love it hurts them like hell first only emotionally, only thoughts run threw there head telling them lies and soon it starts to hurt them physically. Both of those people get hatted on some get put into a place no one knows and some just get called the same name, soulless.
Let me introduce you to Talon he's a middle school boy that's only in seventh grade. Like I said everyone has a soulmate even Talon, his eye color is a very nice aqua color he loves to wear all thing's comfy but he hasn't found his mate yet so people make fun of him and call him soulless for jokes. The teacher's don't like it but they sadly agree so they rarely intervene unlike his best friend Bently. Now Bently really is soulless and he was born lile that which is very rare so he knows what it's like thats why he helps Talon. Bently gets abused at home for being soulless and now his eye's are slowly turning dark but Talon is helping him. Talon has a mom but his dad left them not even leaving a note, he just left at night while they were all asleep he even took his older sister Evylin. Now while there's soul mates a world can never be perfect. In this world there are four different classes, first class is the Highclass and that class is rich, tuff and they get what they want. Upperclass there the class that are rich and tough but there just sidekicks to the Higherclassmen. Firstclass that's the class that doesn't have either of those things there just normal and have no special abilities. Last but not least the Underclass they get nothing at all not even a normal life, they get tossed around from the two highest class and most of them are soulless but also normal. Sadly Talon is almost in the Underclass because once Zane his bully gets into highschool he can make that choice.

Talon got ready for school, he grabbed his bag and threw it on then he grabbed his phone put it in his pocket then left to school. It was a very short walk no longer then seven minutes so he got there pretty fast. He hated seeing everyone so lovey dovie over there love one's in public but he hid that with a smile and walked to his locker. Zane an older kid then him walked over and grabbed him bye the hair and pushed him to the ground. "When you gonna lose your color soulless" Zane said in a mocking voice "I-Im not soulless" "What did you say!" "Nothing sir" "That's what I thought and remember that im a higherclass so don't try to speak up to me again" after Zane left Talon slowly got up and closed his locker. Bently walked over to Talon and saw he was in pain "Did that idiot do that to you again" "Ben you can't say that about Higherclassmen", Ben was Bently's nickname. Bently was mad by the comment but he sighed and looked at Talon "You're right I just don't like how they abuse there power" "The world is shit man" "Ha yeah", they laughed and headed to there first class which was English. They both sat down and talked as people started to come in and sit down. When the teacher started to pass out paper's everyone grunted seeing it was a movie note paper for "None Alive". It was movie about the classes and different love situations, a movie only good to watch when bored. As the movie started Zane left with another highclass but it was a girl and no the teacher didn't stop them, he couldn't. Talon slowly fell asleep so when it came to the end of class Bently helped him with notes in there math class since they were always done first. After math they went to lunch the last thing they had together. Talon put down his food and told Bently he was going to the bathroom. As he was walking out of the bathroom he saw Zane and the girl he walked out with, they were saying something to someone but he couldn't see. When he got a little closer he saw they were messing with a girl that had just been bumped down to the normal class. She was in the highclass but when her parent's were arrested she was put in foster care bumping her down. Talon thought for a minute but then he said "S-Stop messing with her" "Oh soulless, what do you want" "You shouldn't be doing that to her" the girl walked by Zane and sighed. "Babe why is he talking to us" "Soulless leave now!" "N-no!" "Tell me why I should listen to you" "Because you can get yelled at for hitting a normal but i-im just, soulless". Zane smirked, finally Talon said he was soulless "Alright girl go", the girl ran off and Zane walked over to Talon and they soon started to abuse him. It was only a few minutes because they wanted to get done and eat so when Talon went back to the lunch room and sat down. Bently saw a bruise on Talons arm and was mad "What happened" "I just bumped into the door handle" "Was it Zane", Talon looked down and made a small "Yes, but it was my fault he was messing with a girl and I stepped in". Bently sighed and checked his arm, there wasn't a cut but there was a bruise. He looked at Talon and said "Please just don't let him get to you" "Y-Yeah I know it's just temporary until you know I get a partner" "You'll get one im sure of it" Bently smiled and of course Talon did as well. The bell rang, they said bye and headed to there different classes. He had Gym next so he was gonna be fine since he was pretty athletic. Yes I know he doesn't seem like it since he let's people beat him up but he just doesn't like to be like that. Nothing else really happened after that and when they got out of the school Talon and Bently walked to Talons house. They said bye when they got there and Talon headed inside "Hey mom could I go out to-" he paused and saw his dad standing there by his mom. His dad looked at him and smiled "It's so nice to see you again" "Wh-why are you here" "You're coming home with me" "No im staying with mom" "Sorry but your mom is going to jail, forever" "Mom why" "Just listen to him and you'll be fine" "But-" "Please just go Talon". Talon hugged his mom he didn't want to make her troubled so he left with his dad acting like he wasn't troubled. Soon he saw that his dad was a highclass person making him highclass as well. When they got to the house it was a mansion he wasn't expecting this since last time he saw his dad they were broke. They headed inside and his dad showed him around trying to make him happy. Talon sighed when they got to his room and he just sat on his bed as his dad left. He checked his phone and saw Bently had texted him saying that he saw that his mom was bieng put in a police car. Talon told him what happened and Bently was surprised since he never met his dad. Talon heard a load noise downstairs and heard a bunch of girl's talking. He knew then that his sister had come home and that made him nervous. Talon stayed in his room the rest of the day doing his homework and only went out to get food once. In the morning he did the same routine but his dad walked in and said a butler would take him to school. Talon looked at his father "No I can walk" "I'm not making you change your style this is at least good enough" "Ugh fine" "Son I love you" "You wouldn't like my answer". Talon moved passsd his dad and headed out of the house his sister went inside the limo and he got in with her. "So little brother how are you" "Im not in a talking move Jessica" "Why are you so mad you should be happy you're in the highclass now" "No I liked it with mom she wasn't a fool like dad". The car stopped and Talon got out and headed inside ignoring people trying to talk to him. As he was putting his stuff away Bently came over and said "Are you okay" "Yeah just pissed off at my dad and sister" "What happened" "He made my mom go to jail" "Im sorry but look on the bright side Zane can't hurt you" "Yeah" "Could you meet me in the Drama room after school" "Uh yeah of coarse". They headed to class without any stops from Zane. By the end of school Talon went to the Drama room and waited for Bently. The door opened and Talon saw Bently was nervouse, as he walked over to Talon he was building up confidence. When Bently got to Talon he toughened up and said "I-I love you" this surprised Talon since Bently never showed any affection towards anyone. "You do" "I knew you wouldn't like me I'll just leave" "No please stay" "Your a highclass I shouldn't even said I love you" "Don't think like that, I love you too". Bently smiled and they sat down by eatchother, the announcements came on telling Talon to head outside. He said bye to Bently and Bently got up, kissed his cheek and he left. Talon blushed and headed outside to see the same car he came in. He got in and ignored his sister while they drove home. When they got home he headed to his room, put his bag away and went to head outside. His dad stopped him and said "Where are you going" "To the park" "No you aren't" "Yes I am" "I am your dad you listen to me" "No you left me and never came back, you're not my dad". Talon pushed threw him and left to the park where Bently was. He saw Bently was getting color in his eye's and that made him happy. They spent the day together and Bently's eye's started to turn purple Talons favorite color. Talon walked to Bently's house and when his mom saw the color she was shocked and expected Talon to be his soulmate. "Honey how do you have coloured eye's" "Talon and I are together mom"  "But you were born soulless" "I found my soulmate okay and if you don't like it then I'll leave" "No stay home, Talon thank you". Bently's mom went inside and they said bye then Talon went back home. Talon had a small blush on his face but that changed when there was an explosion in the bank. A few people ran off in time but the person who set the bomb wasn't done. The man came out and started to shoot people but Talon ran to a car and hid behind it. All he heard was the shooting and soon the man said "All you people should for how you treat our kind!". He was one of the peopld who hated how the system was set up and how they abused other's. Police came and stopped him but this wasn't the only town that was bombed like this almost every town with a big amount of people were bombed. Talon had got shards of glass in his skin and had to go to the hospital to remove them. After that rumors started to go around and in just one day a rumor became popular. The rumor was that all governments were agreeing to start something new for the world that would make them forget about this life. After a week of school bieng cancelled everything was fine. Talon went to school with a few stitches and soon it was gonna be the end of school. Bently and Talon went to there first class and the teacher turned on the news since everyone was told to. On the news the President had an announcement "I know that people have been talking about this rumor and now im here to tell you the truth, the rumor is true and in about a month we will have it set. Every family will have to come to the capital building and we will then proceed with the progress. A thing that will change is that you won't remember any of this but you will stay with your loved one and you will stay withnyour family and there will be new rules. That's it and today for the students is the last day". Everyone was shocked by the announcement they started to freak out and Talon had a mix of emotions. "Talon do you think we'll still be together" "Yeah he said we would and im sure even if we forget we will still have feelings for eatchother" the teacher stopped the class and said to just go back home. The teacher was also freaking out but he stayed calm kinda. Everyone left the classroom and soon the halls were filled with students and everyone left. People were supposed to stay in school but sincs it was let out early they saw the city bieng blocked off by a wall bieng placed down by planes. Bently hugged Talon while everyone else was screaming. There was a video that appeared on the big tv and it was the president again "We have put this wall here so no one tries to escape like some other's did. And this is because Canada has decided not to do this.". The tv turned off and everyone ran home to tell there parent's. Talon wanted to go and see his mom so Bently went with him. When they got to the prison Talon got to see his mom for only a few minutes since they were told that they were gonna have to close down the prison. As they left Talons dad was outsidd waiting "D-dad why are you here" "Come home now" "What but I'm allowed to be out" "No come on before they figure out you're with that idiot" "What no" "So your Talons dad" Bently said a little pissed off by the comment. "Yes I am and now he has to go home"  "Im not going I only have a month left with Bently and I want to spend it with him, a cop came out and felt that the father was starting to get abusive so he told him to back off and leave them alone. When the father tried to use the highclass thing it failed and the cop said that the classes don't matter anymore. Talon started to get dizzy so they wenr over to a bench and sat down, his hands started to twitch. Soon it stopped and Bently calmed him down enough so they could could start walking to Bently's house. None of his family was home so they played some video game's and smoked. That month was crazy people kept trying escape and some did but also a few were killed but that was hidden. Talon tended to stay at Bently's house since his family had gone missing they guess that they must've been able to escape. Now it was the last few day's until they had to go to that place. Only three day's left did everyone have until this big change all because of some stupid love and soul mates.

Talon woke up and went to sit up but Bently cuddled against him so he layed down and held him. Bently opened his eye's, they got up and Bently went to the restroom. Talon got changed and checked his phone, he saw that everyone was gonna have to be ready soon. Bently came in the room smoking a joint and they just sat down and messed around. Bently looked at Talon worried "We only have three day's left" "I know…" "What do you think it'll be like" "I don't know maybe it will have more greenery" "Yeah that'd be nice" "But there probably gonna get rid of weed" "Ah come on". They laughed and soon they got ready and went out for a walk. Many people were with there family spending the last few day's with them but Talon couldn't and he didn't want to. Talon is afraid for what might happen in this new life, will he be with his mom and dad he thought. After awhile they went to a cafe and ate breakfast.
