Chloe's P.O.V
The whole way to our new house I was zoning out, thinking about what the task my dad needed me for was. I was brought back to reality after the car stopped. We stopped in front of a fairly big house. My dad gets out of the car and so do I. I noticed that we were in a different town, but I didn't quit know what town or if we were In a city instead. I got out of the car and started to grab boxes from the car as my dad opened the door to our new house. I walked in and looked around. The inside was super pretty and big. I walked farther into the house and found the kitchen. I set the boxes down and began to walk back outside. As I was walking out the front door I hear my dad talking to someone. I could only hear murmers.

(Phone call conversation)

" yeah we just got to the house you told me about"

" Of course she will do it, she's to stupid not to"

"Trust me she'll do exactly what I say"

"Alright I gotta go before she gets to suspicious and comes to investigate."

( End of conversation)

Chloe's P.O.V.

I walk over to the car as if I never even heard the whole conversation. My dad walks over to me and says " so are you ready to find out what your special job is?" After he finishes his sentence he gives me an evil looking smirk. I look him in the eyes and nod my head. He then says good and continues to unpack, so I also finish unpacking.

1 hour later

After a rough hour of unpacking me and my dad sit down in the kitchen. My dad looks my way and starts to explain my "special job".

"All right....now your job is simple if you mess this up the consequences will be severe. Got it!"

I shake my head a little slower then I wanted to showing my dad my hesitation. "Good" As my dad was getting ready to explain what my job I felt nervous but excited because I was finally going to learn what my dad did for a living.

"Okay so what you are going to do is help me kidnap someone and then hold them for a ransom. It's as simple as that." As he continued to explain the plan I got lost in my thoughts. My dad is a kidnapper. Everything was starting to make sense now. Why we moved so much, but Hy my dad always got a huge amount of money all at once. My dad noticed and brought me back to reality. " Are you even listening? This is important."
" Yes, yes I'm listening." I answer him back quickly. He continues with his plan and I try my best to focus on the plan and not the thoughts in my head.
After my dad finished explaining the plan he told me was going to bed. I looked at the time and saw that it was around 11:40 at night. I said good night and also prepared for bed. Before he left the kitchen completely He turns to me and says " I hope your ready for this job, it happens tommorow night. We'll talk more about the victim in the morning." He continues to walk to his room which is down stairs. I wait a few seconds untill I too head to my room upstairs. I open the door to my room, it was a small room but it was a bit bigger than my old room. It had a window and a small closet, the only thing that didn't change was my bed with only 2 pillows and a small thin blanket. I payed down on my bed and looked up at the roof. After laying there and looking at the roof for a while I heard dogs barking outside. I looked out the window sneakily, I saw a good looking guy who looked to be about 19 or 20. I could see most of his features from the light of the Street lamp. The guy was very attractive and also looked familiar. What was he doing out so late? Especially in this neighborhood. I hope he is careful, there could be other people like my dad out there. I close my window and lay back down on my bed, and not after long I fall asleep.
