.......this was the fourth time she's knocking the door...
He angrily opens it....to find her with a questioning look...
"Sir....please....mujhe bas 5min aapse bat karni he"
"Cadet sing...aapse kitni bar kaha he.....aap is tarha faculty room me nahi aa sakti..."he replies frustrated
But she gets in anyway
"Sir par mujhe janna he...mujhse aisi kya galti hui he...why have you turned so cold to me all of sudden.....ek taraf mere doston Ko lagta he ke unki sari problems meri wajah se badhi he.....aur aap bhi mera sath nahi Denge....you are my mentor sir..."she is on verge of crying..
"Aapka mentor hone ka matlab ye nahi ke me aapki har bachkani problem KO solve Karunga.....cadet singh ..apna raasta khud dhundna sikho.....Mai nahi chahta ki har baar aap Meri ungli pakad kar chalein" he says with teary eyes..not facing her for a second .......being rude to her is hurting him more than her.....but this has to be done ..for her reputation
"All well captain" dr mishra emerge from his bedroom to witness the scene ..

Naina narrows her eyes.....and shoots him a look....not sure what exactly to be angry at.....
"Ye sawal to mera hona chaiye cadet ...as i am your senior...is tarha rat ko faculty quarters me tum kya Kar rahi ho"
"Mujhe sir se important kaam tha"she repleis admantly ..not willing to bend infront of her. ..
"Cadet....do u think what you are doing is right.. ..is tarha bar bar apni choti choti problems lekar apne sir ko pareshaan Karna...do you think that looks good.....kabhi socha he unki reputation pe kya asar padega"
She starts taking advantage of rajveer's silence....insulting her. .right infront of him...
She is awestruck....this can't be her rajveer sir. ...he jumps in her defence and fights for her. As far as she knows....how can he let this woman insult her....does she hold no place in his life....she is lost looking at him....
"Sir..kya aap sach me kuch nahi khenge ."she asks softly ..with a hoarse voice. ......and he looks at her...with a helpless longing......they are staring at each other......as ritu adds .
"Cadet har baat pe apne sir ke peeche chipna band Karo...learn to find your own way.....learn to be independent"_she lectures her as if giving. A friendly advice..on his behalf..and it frustrates her all the more...
"Got it mam......"she replies curtly....shooting a hurt look at him
And leaves before he could say something...
He is embarassed.....as the way ritu is questioning her doesn't sound good to his ears too. He can be cold to her. .but same thing done by someone else makes him uncomfortable..
"Captian..i think you should quit being so lineant with your students...that they start invading your privacy.....like this"_she says to him...and he shoots her an angry look...
"Dr Mishra....right now....privacy is what i need.....urgently...so ...do you mind if...we talk some other time..."he says wanting to get rid of her. And breathe in silence...
Ritu is dumbstruck...at. His insult...
"Sure captain"she says...and leaves....
He lies on the bed.....with all her moments running in his head.....how can he hurt her like this ...wasn't he the one who had let her believe they were friends...and she could disturb him anytime she likes...wasn't he the one...to jump like a savior to defend her....
Now his sudden withdrawal semeed odd to her.....that wasn't completely her fault.....
It was him...who was unable to deal with his feelings....

She is tossing and turning in her sleep.....tears escaping her eyes .....why did he let ritu insult her on his behalf.....It had hurt so much...when he stopped talking to her......just a few days ago...everything was so perfect.....he was the one to give her all the attention...he was the one to keep her warm....and now..she was feeling lonlier than ever before...
Maybe..she had expected too much from him....after all she should be used to people withdrwing their support like this...afterall he has a bright and reputed career...why would he waste it helping a traitor's sister....maybe he had been uncomfortable when supporting his started affecting her relationship with Ritu....that's why he is so angry. ....and withdrawn.....
