He has been your best friend since you were little. Now you both are high schoolers, seniors, to be exact.

"You want to go on a picnic or something?" "Umm..." He then laughed cutely "sure, why not?"

Picnic time came. He brought his friends, Chan, Woojin, Jisung, Lee Know, Hyunjin, Seungmin, I.N, and Felix.

You laughed awkwardly. "Did you have to bring them?" "No, but I know you wanted me to bring HIM with me" "Who?" "Come on Y/N! Don't play around. I know you have a crush on Hyunjin!"

He said it loudly, which made you and Hyunjin turn to look at each other. Although he smiled cutely after you two made eye contact, you couldn't return the smile. You thought you liked Hyunjin, but why were you so mad at Changbin for thinking that you wanted Hyunjin to come?

"DUDE! Don't be so loud. Why would you think I like H-Hyunjin?" He laughed, but you knew it was fake. "OH MY GOSH! You even stuttered on his name!"

His friends gave you space to talk it out with each other. You guys were all alone, with each other.

"Look at me." You don't know why, but he looks like an angel to you right now. No, I like Hyunjin...right? Changbin smiled. "Why? You're really weird. We are arguing and you get all serious." You looked down , regretting even looking up as there came a deep blush across your  cheeks. "You're just so cute." "Huh?" "Umm... yeah... actually, sorry. Forget that you just heard that." You laugh nervously.
You both wanted to say something, but you didn't. You kept quiet. It started to get awkward as the tension grew.
Changbin coughed.  "I-I like y-you..." "Wha-" Just at that moment, Hyunjin interrupted. "Hey...Can I talk to you for a second? Without Changbin?" "Yeah, sure."
You left Changbin with no protest from him. You weren't nervous around Hyunjin for once, surprisingly.
"What do you need?" "I know you like me." "What?" You laugh, almost wheezing. "That's funny" "I'm serious. It's okay. I like you too! I have liked you for so long, but Changbin likes you too. He knows you like me, so all he does lately is cry because he can't have you." That made you sad. You feel so stupid right now! "So?" "So what?" "You didn't hear me?" To be honest, no, you didn't hear him. You were to lost in your thoughts that you hadn't realized he was still there. "No, sorry. Repeat what you said." "I said, will you go out with me?" "Oh, umm... Hyunjin.. you're really cute and so sweet but..." "I get it. You like Changbin hyung. It's okay. Well, I tried. I kinda knew when you didn't smile back at me earlier." "I'm so sorry Hyunjin. I really am." "It's okay. Does Changbin know yet?" ....."No, but I was just about to tell him." "Well, you should go back now. Good luck!"
You walked off to find Changbin, but he was gone.
"Hey Chan. Do you know where Changbin went?"
"No, sorry mate. His car is gone. I think he went home."
You check his location on your phone. He is at home. You drive to his house. You didn't know why, but at the stop light, you burst into tears.

You finally make it to his house. He opens the door. As soon as he does, Changbin notices your red, puffy eyes from crying.
"Oh my gosh. What's wrong? Who hurt you? I swear to god if Hyunjin-"
He got cut off. You kissed him. No words could explain the amount of butterflies you have in your stomach right now.
"Wow...what was that?" He looked at the ground, but looked up when you said his name.
"Changbin?"
"Yes?"
