I wake up surround by white coats and scrubs but no Matthew ? why am I in the hospital ?why cant I feel my lower left leg ? these questions raced through my head as a nurse who really need to wipe off all her blue eyeshadow said "good morning sleepy head you have had a rough couple of days " the man messing with all the cords and tubes Hooked to me asked if I would like the room cleared so I could calm down I shook my head and the room cleared immediately except for him . he sat quietly waiting for my many questions he knew I may have "first things first what happened to my leg " he answered in a empathetic tone " Well you were shot in the calf and hit 2 of your major veins and when we had you try to move your leg you couldn't and you say cringing in pain crying so we had to amputate it from the knee down " "so I can't penny board ever again " "Well you could but it will take quite a bit of physical therapy and a prosthetic leg of course " tears brimmed my eyes . I needed matt . I needed him to explain and I n my hurricane of thoughts the only thing I could mutter was "Matt" and the doctor knew what I meant and immediately went to get matt .
Matts POV
As soon as the last doctor came out I rushed to my feet . he told me he had explained the amputation but after that she got to over whelmed in tears and could only mutter my name
WAIT SHE MUTTERED MY NAME !! "Matt she is stressed and doesn't remembered anything you were her favorite viner she may not remember the YOU that got her shot " I thought to myself I walked slowly into the room with tear stained cheeks and smiled when I saw her beautiful face she half grinned seeing as she had fallen asleep while we were In the hall I closed the behind me . I took a seat next to her holding her hand she frowned rolling to her side pouting and patting the space next to her and on her command I climbed up and curled up with her falling asleep for the first time in 3 days all of my stressed drifted away as I laid there and comforted her and she comforting me .
