Part 13: birthday

"Y/n!"

I turned to the frantic boy next to me as I closed my locker, "what is it Taehyung? Are you ok?"

He out his hands together in a praying position "please come with me really fast it's urgent"

I nodded and followed the boy who grabbed my hand dragging me to a class room that was unused since it was far and in a darker corner of the school.

He nervously looked around outside the class room and took a deep breath.

"Why are we here Taehyung.." I shoved my hands into my pockets and looked around the hall.

"I wanted to say I'm sorry.. again.." he scratched the back of his head "I couldn't sleep last night thinking that I hurt you.."

His hands then grabbed mine and brought me into a hug quickly. "Really I'm sorry y/n"

"Taehyung.." I pulled away from his hug and looked at his broken eyes. "Please s-"

"Wait please.. before you say anything.." he took his hands and covered my eyes "I have a surprise for you"

He guided me into the class room. His warm hands felt nice against my eyes as I leaned into his touch more.

I could feel him hesitate before turning me to face him and uncovered my eyes. "Ok.. you can look.."

My eyes opened and blinked adjusting to the room.
Looking around I froze seeing ballons and small gifts and a cake. I scrunched my eyebrows and thought for a second.

"Happy birthday y/n" Taehyung said softly looking down at the floor.

"Its my b-" I gasped and looked at Taehyung "it's my birthday ? OH how could I forget!"

I looked back at the ballooned and all and looked at Taehyung "You did this all.. for me?"

He nodded and wrapped his arm around me pulling me close to him. "I was hoping you would forgive me if I surprised you"

I was in shock I stared at the boy admiring what he had done to the small class room with a smile on his face, tears welding up in my eyes "t-Taehyungie"

He looked at me and his expression quickly changed into worry "Ah no no please don't cry y/n" his hands cupped my face whipping tears away from my eyes.

I could feel my lip quiver as I tried to stop myself from crying "Thank you Tae"

He smiled softly and kissed my forehead pulling me into a tight hug "does this mean you'll forgive me for being so mean to you?"

I nodded and hugged the boy back.

He soon pulled away and skipped over to a gift bag, grabbing it carefully and giving it to me "here open it"

I took the bag carefully and set it down on a near by desk, pulling out the gifts that were inside.

Most being snacks that I like and a sweater I had always told Taehyung I would take from him but he would always tell me not too cause it was 'expensive'. I pulled out a small box and opened it.

Taehyung looked at me curiously and smiled wide, something I missed seeing on his stupid face.

"Well do you like it ?"

I looked at the rose shaped charm on the necklace. I looked at the animal lover "tae.. you didn't have too"

He scratched the back of his head and chuckled "does that mean I can take my sweater back" he joked

I smiled and grabbed the sweater holding it close "no you already gave it to me~"

His box smile, the one I loved before was now back. I started to tear up thinking about everything.

I dont want to lose him again...

I looked at the sweater in hands and brought it to my face.

"Y/n..?" Taehyung came closer to me and let his hand rest on my back "Are you ok?"

I looked up at him with a weak smile "i-im sorry, I'm just.. ove-" I hiccuped and looked back down "over whelmed"

"Aish y/n it's ok.. its gonna be ok" he hugged me tight and played with my hair trying to calm me down.

"Y/n!"

Jungkook..?
