~Amelia's POV~

I groaned as a thud came at my bedroom door...or should I say, Jessica and I's door.

"Get up," Kyle's voice came through the door, "I'm taking you guys to school and I'm leaving at exactly 7:30. You're late, you walk."

"Go away, Kyle," Jessica called as we both rolled our eyes, "We've been up for a while."

"Of course you have," Kyle retorted, "It takes you forever to actually look decent."

I burst out in giggles as Jessica whipped the door open before her and Kyle raced down the hallway for completely different reasons.

For being twenty and fifteen you'd think they could be more mature.

I pulled my crocheted beanie over my strawberry blonde hair as I stared at my reflect in Jessica's full body mirror. I wasn't wearing anything special for my first day back at school, just a pair of ripped jeans, a green and black long sleeve, a black crocheted beanie, and some jean TOMS.

((OUTFIT TO THE SIDE, BUT I DECIDED THAT IT WOULD BE A BEANIE INSTEAD OF A BARRETTE/FRENCH HAT THINGY))

Makeup is minimul and my hair is down and in it's natural wavey state. The only reason i wake up at 6 AM is, 1. I have to go through Jessica's normal banter about how I should dress better, and 2. It takes me at least half-an-hour just to roll out of bed.

There's a gentle knock at the door as my little sister Hannah poked her head in, "Mommy said it's time for breakfast."

"Thanks Hannah Banana," I smiled as I turned to show her my outfit, "What do you think?" Yeah, I know. Asking a seven-year-old who is in the stage of tu-tu's with leggings and a kitty cat tshirt isn't the best person to ask, but hey, she pulls that look off.

Hannah looked at me with a thoughtful expression before snapping her little fingers, "Cute, but you should put a tiny braid in your bangs to add to it."

I smiled, "That's my girl!"

Hannah giggled as she and I walked down the hallway, her skipping while I work the braid into my bangs before securing it with a clear elastic, "Better?" I asked as we reached the bottom of the steps.

Hannah looked at me for a few seconds before grinning, "Perfect!"

I gave her a quick hug before we headed to the chaos filled kitchen where the five other 'kids' in my house were all fighting for their breakfast.

"Morning," I smiled slightly at my mom as I lifted Hannah up so she could sit on the counter, "Want some toast with nutella?" I asked Hannah and she quickly nodded.

"LOOK OUT!" My brother Andrew called as a spoon came whizzing across the room, I barely ducked before it would have hit me in the face.

As I stood back up I glared at Andrew, "When I turn 18 next month I am SO DISOWNING YOU." I yelled the last part at him as Kyle came over and whacked Andrew hard on the back of the head.

After getting Hannah and I some toast I grabbed my bookbag and headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" Kyle called as heand Andrew followed me out of the kitchen that was still a full on war zone, "I thought I was dribing you to school"

"Yeah," I scuffed, "Like I'd want to start my first day of school this year riding with Andrew. Steven is picking me up."

"Ooohhhh, the famous womanizer boyfriend," Andrew snorted, "I may be immature, but at least I don't use girls for my own selfish gain."

"He is not a womanizer," I growled as I shoved Andrew against the wall, surprise was written all over his face at my sudden strength, "And he is not using me. So back off."

"Ok, ok," He sighed as he held his hands up in surrender, "But you'll understand soon enough."

"Let it go," I heard Kyle tell Andrew as I shut the door behind me and raced down the steps to Steven's waiting car.

"Hey babe," Steven smiled as he gave me a quick peck on the lips and started driving.

~LUNCH TIME~

"Hey," I smiled as I walked up to Steven and I's normal table that consisted of a few of our friends and Andrew, "Have you guys seen Steven?"

Andrew shot out of his seat, eyes wide and pushed me down in my own seat, "I'm sure he's just getting in trouble with some teacher." He said quickly.

"Andrew," I demanded with my classic 'tell-me-the-truth-or-your-dead' glare that caused Andrew to look down at his lunch.

"I think he's at the lo-YOWWW!" Jeff, one of the football players said before yelling out in random pain while simultaneously getting a glare from Andrew.

"What's going on you guys?" I asked, getting a bit freaked out at this point.

"Just go find out for yourself," Jenna, little miss drama queen, smirked, "You'll find him in the locker rooms at the south entrance."

"Jenna," Andrew snapped before turning his attention back to me, "Please stay here."

I could feel my heart pounding as I stood and headed out of the cafeteria with Andrew hot on my heels.

"Amy, stop, please," He begged.

"Why are you acting so secretive all of a sudden?" I asked as I walked down the steps that lead to the locker room door.

"Becau-" Andrew started but was cut off as I opened the door and stopped in my tracks.

"Wow, Sandra," I piped up, causing Steven and her to jump back, ending their make out session, "I knew you hated me, but even I didn't think you were this low."

"Please," Sandra scuffed, "It's not my fault your boyfriend isn't pleased with you. You should be happy he stayed with you this long."

"Sandra, stop," I heard Steven whisper in Sandra's ear.

"No," Sandra snapped, "She should hear this since it's her fault," Turning back in my direction she smirked, "You are the biggest disgrace for a girlfriend I have ever seen, you don't even know how to please your boyfriend enough to keep him from cheating on you. We've been doing this for the last month and a half and you still aren't pleasing enough. You're worthless."

My entire body shook as I walked across the room and smacked her right across the face. She fell to the floor with a thud that satisfied me a bit. Turning to Steven who's eyes were filled with shock, I snapped at him, "We're done." Before storming out of the locker room with Andrew trailing behind me.

Andrew and I walked outside in silence before a tear slipped down my cheek, "You tried to warn me," I whispered.

Andrew let out a shaky breath, "Amy," He said in the soft voice I haven't heard since I was eight years old and had broken my arm trying to get his frisbe off the roof, "I didn't want you to find out this way."

"Just take me home, please." I sobbed.

Andrew turned and knelt down on the ground, "Come on, I'll give you a piggy back ride." He smiled weakly.

I climbed onto his back and buried my face in his shirt, "I'm sorry for not listening, Andrew."

"It's ok," He replied softly as he started the walk back to the house.

"Maybe I won't disown you..." I chuckled slightly.

"That'd be nice," He smiled.
