You're bias walks into the classroom, not knowing you've been deaf most of your life. He sits down in the desk in front of you and tilts his head to the side saying. "Hey beautiful. Would you like to have lunch with my brothers and I?"
You look up at him and notice that he's trying to talk to you. You cover your ears meaning that you couldn't hear anything around you.
Having been a little kid back then, you were abused and called "ugly" or a "slut" and some other stuff. You always listened to music through your earbuds loudly causing your hearing so slowly decrease. One day, it all broke and you couldn't hear anything anymore. Your world spun in circles, your body slowly going all pale and your head began hurting. From that moment on, you just had to learn how to push through the people that were bullying you. They all pretended to be scared of you, but they always said things out loud about you because they all knew you wouldn't hear any of them. You've never gotten hearing aids because you just didn't have the money. It's just horrible.
Your bias thought you were ignoring him so he gave you a grossed out look. And it was not until your twin walked into the room showing you some sign language. She said, "Did you bring your lunch?"
You respond with, "No, I'm not in the mood to eat today."
Your bias looks at you two like something just crawled into his eye.
