I followed the group while in the woods. They mad a lot of noise and were slow so they were pretty hard to lose.
When we finally reached the beach I was about to check the area when all the guys took off their clothing. I blush and stare at Loki and Takeru.
I yank my glaze away and start checking for it.
It's a kelpie. So I'm looking for maybe a horse or a man. I hear something rustling in the bushes and a point my bow at it. A small rabbit jumps out of the bush and looks at me. I sigh and before I can relax I hear a shout on the beach. I sprint towards it the twigs. Snagging my cloak occasionally. I'm almost there when my cloak get stuck and yanks my back. I rip my cloak off of me and keep running. Once I'm out of the tree line I look around quickly and see Loki approaching the horse.
"LOKI DONT." I shriek but I'm too late.
He touches the horse just as the words leave my mouth. As if under a spell he climbs onto the horse. You can tell from his face that he is trying to resist it. I can't shoot or I might hit someone. I run forward and grab the horses mane.
I look the horse in the eyes and say" take me instead. Let him go and you can have me. We have the same heritage and I'm more powerful so just let him go." I say slowly pushing Loki off.
The kelpie releases it's spell on Loki and instead captures me instead. I mount the kelpie and it sprints for the ocean. I use the last of my will power to pull a knife out of my boot and stab it in the skull. The spell is immediately released and before I can respond it collapse on its side trapping my leg in.
