The Outcast Princess

Chapter 1- Once upon a time

   Once upon a time there were humans and hybrids. They lived together as one until... The king of humans decided to wage war upon the hybrids. The king announced this at the human ball...

"They are MONSTERS! They don't deserve to live beside us humans! " Yelled The king. "Tomorrow we will attack the hybrid castle and drive them out! They will never see it coming"

   What the king didn't know was that the princess of the hybrids, Amber, was spying on the ball. Shocked she silently ran back to the hybrid castle to warn her father, the king of the hybrids...

"Father! Father!" Yelled Amber. "Yes dear?" He said looking up from his book. "I just heard that the kind of the human is going to attack us tomorrow!"

Shocked the king set out to find the leader of the guards and sent Amber to the royal quarters to get the family together.

   The next day the hybrid king announced to his subjects that the human king waged war upon them and to be ready for anything. When the human army came marching up to the gate, the hybrid army was waiting for them... In the castle the royal family was hiding.

   "Mother I'm scared..." Whimpered Ash, Amber's little brother. "It's okay dear. Father will win the battle for us." Said Ruby, The queen.

   What they didn't know was that the hybrid army was falling behind fast and the king was captured... When they heard quiet footsteps outside the door the queen went to go see who it was... when she opened the door she was greeted with a net, capturing her...

   "Kids run!" Yelled Ruby. "The humans have gotten inside!"

   The last the two royal siblings saw of they're mother was her being dragged down the hall in a net...
   They ran as fast as they could through the castle halls. Zigzagging back and forth. Going up and down stairways hoping not to be caught... When they finally stopped they were in a secret tunnel in the walls. Not even their parents knew about this tunnel.  They only found it by accident when playing hide and seek. When they caught their breath the both started crying... They cried for hours until... they heard footsteps outside the tunnel entrance..

   "Hello? Is anyone there? I heard crying " called out an unfamiliar voice. Then the entrance opened and a cloaked figure walked in and saw the siblings. "I won't hurt you dears. I am Galena. I've been looking for hybrid survivors to bring to the forest beyond the wall. Come with me." The two royal siblings went with her and when the small group of outcasts in the forest saw the royal siblings they cheered. They would still have a leader...
