"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Cassie chimed as she jumping on Allison who was till half asleep in bed.
"Don't, please say you didn't tell anyone." Allison groaned wanting to keep the day a secret since she'd been held back a year.
"Nope, but just because you don't want people knowing isn't going to stop me buying you a gift. Cassie passed Ali the pandora box that she opened with a gasp.
"Cassie. They're beautiful." She took out the two charms, one the letter A, and the other was a bow and arrow.
"I thought you'd like them." Cassie smiled back. Before he girls could say anything else Kate walked in. "I should go get ready, see you at school." Cassie dismissed herself, things had be awkward between her and her aunt since she shot Derek and any time away from the house was a god send for the small blonde teenager.
"Cassie?" Chris's called from the kitchen as Cassie reached the bottom of the stairs.
"Yeah, what's up dad?" She asked as she rounded the corner to see her dad looking stressed out.
"There was a attack at the video store last night.."
"Oh I heard, you think it's wolfs?"
"We think it's a alpha."
"So do we hunt it?"
"Me and your mum have been talking about it, we want you to stay out of this fight, werewolf's are dangerous but Alphas they are a whole new level. Chris warned. "Saying that I've had a call about a omega who's been tormenting and killing the towns folks not far from here, I want you to come with me."
"Of course." Cassie stuttered, hunting wasn't easy when the lines between good and evil had been blurred. Any sign of weakness or hesitation and she risked exposing what she's been doing with Scott and the others. "When do we leave?"
"Go change we leave as soon as you're ready." Chris instructed. Following orders Cassie disappeared up stairs and changed into a pair of skinny black jeans, a black vest top and dark blue jacket. She slipped into her black trainers before racing out to the car where Chris waited.
"Should we head off." She chimed climbing in the passenger seat of her dads car.
"You know Ive missed having you around lately, it feels like you spend all your time with the sheriffs kid." Chris spoke up as they drove.
"His been helping me get my grades. Speaking of, I'm now above a C average in all my subjects." Cassie smiled sweetly. "I don't have to go to the parent, teacher conference this year."
"Your mum will be happy. She's been worried your grades have been effected by your hunting."
"So as long as he helps me keep my grades up and I still make time for hunting and training can I keep hanging out with him?" Cassie guttered her eyelashes giving Chris puppy dog eyes.
"Okay, but I don't want to see it effecting your hunting." Chris agreed.
"Of course." Cassie sighed knowing that wouldn't be easy with the work they was doing behind her fathers back.

Cassie spent the day tracking the omega through the woods, she followed each broken twig, footprint in the mud and blood from the wounded creature until she came face to face with it, it can't of been much older than her, he had tanned skin and dirty blonde hair that fell in damp waves over over his eyes, his heart raced with the fear of being caught.
"Please, I didn't do it." He pleaded knowing to run would be useless at this point.
"If it wasn't you then who was it?" She asked taking advantage of the others not having caught up yet.
"A Alpha, Ive been hunting him since he killed my sister." The boy panted. His eyes were filled for fear. "Please say you believe me." He begged.
"Ok, you need to get out of here before the others show up. I'm going to lead them north away from you to give you a chance to escape, what ever you do, don't get caught." She warned him, the flicker of his golden eyes reassuring her she was making the right choice. He gave her a nod grateful for her help before bolting off in the other direction. Soon after the others caught up.
"Where is it?" One of the men asked.
"It went north, follow me." Cassie instructed pretending to follow a trail. To her relief the boy stayed out of sight until Chris gave up hunting him, with dented egos and wounded pride the team climbed back into their cars and headed back into town where Chris prepared for the parent, teacher conference. He and their mother left together leaving Cassie alone since Kate hadn't returned from where ever she disappeared off to that day yet so Cassie took the Opportunity to lunge around with Apollo watching tv and binging on popcorn until Allison and her parents arrived home arguing.
"What's up?" Cassie asked moving Apollo over so she could get up.
"Dads grounding me." Allison moaned furious at their dad.
"You ditched a whole day of school." He argued back his face red from shouting.
"Not to mention he shot a big cat in the school parking loot." Allison retorted before bolting up the stairs.
"I had to, it would have hurt more people." Chris huffed slumping down on the seat next to his daughter who was chilling out in a pair of grey trackies and a maroon vest top.
"Hurt more people? Who did it hurt?" Cassie asked peeking on the end of the sofa.
"The sheriff, he got hurt in all the panic, his been taken to the hospital." Chis sighed causing Cassie to jump up from her seat chucking on a pair on black pumps and grab the car keys. "Where do you think you're going?" Chris's asked knowing full well where she was going.
"To the hospital, Stiles is going to be freaking out, I have to be there for him." She shrugged sadly. "Dad please don't try to stop me." She pleaded knowing her dad wouldn't like the idea of her leaving and spending the night in the hospital with him but she needed to do it, she had to be there to support him.
"Ok, but Cassie stay safe, the Alpha is still out there." Chris agreed giving her a hug before letting her race out the door to the car.

Cassie raced down the bright halls of the hospital looking for the Sheriffs room, her heart paused when she saw Stiles sitting outside one of the rooms on a wooden bench looking completely heart broken. She walked over taking a seat next to him intertwining her fingers in her own.
"How is he?" She asked tracing her thumb over the back of his hand.
"His going to be okay, his got a separated shoulder and some bruised ribs." Stiles kept his eyes down on his hands.
"Thats good right?" Cassie didn't understand why he was so upset if his dad was going to be okay.
"It could have been so much worse." Stile sighed.
"We are going to figure out who the Alpha is and once we do we can kill him, it's only a matter of time and once we put him down the people of Beacon hills will be safe again." Cassie reassured him resting her head on his shoulder.
"Thank you for coming." Stiles whispered, in response she placed a light kiss on his cheek before cuddle back up to him waiting for more news of his dad.
