"Annie Lilly is dead." Annie's mother said not sounding a bit sad about it. She said even a bit happy.
Their mother hated what Lilly had become. She was dark and had taken to fighting with everyone she could. She had become bitter and angery when their father died. When her father died the Lilly that Annie and her mother loved also died and in her place was a whole different person.
"How?" Annie asked.
"Car accident." Lied Annie's mother. Some how her mother made that the last of the conversation.
They both lived on as if Lilly was never been born. Her mother forgot about her dead daughter.
Annie almost forgot her sister too, but Lilly could not be forgotten that easily.
