Dear Eydun,

Hi! Oh my gods you wrote back! I can't believe you wrote back! Oh my gods I'm so happy! I was so excited when I picked up your letter! Thank you for writing back! Oooh! What do you like most writing about when it comes to history? Have you ever done any pieces on the World War? Erm, what exactly did you think about Hitler? Sorry for asking, I just can't help but wonder! Seriously, thank you for writing back! It means a lot. ...As for you being gay, it might be a coincidence, ahm, who knows I mean... Lots of people are gay. At least I think, right? Why did you say it was a coincidence? Does it have to be? I'm sorry! I'm sorry... I just... I'm nervous writing to you. I usually only use email, but this is nice, I guess right? I hope you think so... I do. Boulder sounds cool. You didn't go to the Colorado School of Mines right? I heard that was a hard school to get into. I only know one of my friends who did, and he was extremely stressed, he barely passed his first year and wasn't able to attend for another year. Well, that's what he said. Also, I absolutely adore black tea! I can't even! That's so cool! Also, I think, if you want, only if you want, I could visit you and you could make Schweinshaxe. It sounds so good! I personally like simple pasta meals. They're easy to make and tasty. Though, I do have to admit, I love lamb shanks. I cannot get enough of them. My mouth is drooling thinking of them. Not literally, but I mean, they are that good! Sorry, I went on a food rant didn't I... I just really am excited to be talking to you. Gods, I sound creepy don't I... Sorry. So where did you go to college? Did you like the experience? Are you still paying for the debts? Was it all worth it? Do you still want to go to college and get a Bachelor's? What were you planning on doing with the rest of your life exactly? And oh my gods!!! Your dog is cool. But my gods, I love your cat!!! It's absolutely adorable. He looks absolutely gorgeous. It's a he, right? What's their name?

My break was nice, yes. I visited my family for about a week before heading back here. I had a lot of fun at a few parties, but I mostly worked. College does not pay for itself. As for my grades, they weren't all great, but at least I had passed all my classes, right? Enough about the college though, my gods you should have seen the snow. It's so beautiful. I took like a million walks in the forest, to places I wasn't allowed to go, and took so many pictures! It was like walking into some magical fantasy winter forest. Literally. I loved it. It was so beautiful. I wish I could show you. I'll give you pictures later, I'm a bit low on money this week. Really, thank you for writing back to me. I enjoyed it. Cheers.

Many thanks,

Suibhweynha

Sui smiled, sipping from a cup of tea as he read the letter from Eydun for the 10th time. He couldn't help it. Fine, he didn't know the guy, but he liked him. It would be stupid to deny it. Okay, rather, maybe he didn't really like him, but he definitely had a crush. A crush was healthy. Right? He sighed, picking up Pumpkin and pet him before pulling out a textbook, going over a few chapters as he pulled out his homework. "College... Fun, stressful, annoying, and somehow worth it."

Eydun sighed as he read the new letter. "Again... Seriously." He shook his head, taking a sup of coffee. Okay, suppose he actually did like getting letters from Sui, that didn't mean he liked getting letters so frequently. The first letter he'd gotten being a week ago. Couldn't he wait a month? The next line had him coughing up coffee. He held his hand over his mouth putting the letter down. Man, Sui really seemed to like him, you could see it in the writing. He took another sip of his coffee, trying to hide his blushing cheeks. He wanted to come here, from Maine of all places, over the summer, when he was clearly having trouble paying for college, just to have his favorite meal? He let out a shaky breath, shaking his head. By the gods. He'd have to reply later, that part made him dumbfounded.

Dear Suibhweynha,

Pardon for not responding immediately. Some of what you wrote astounded me. Not in a bad way, I assure you. To say the least, the thought of you actually coming here is surprising, especially considering the fact that we've barely talked. I'm sure that will change, however. Wow, this got deep, didn't it? As for what I write about, I rather like to talk about any topic previous of the 19th century. (The 1800s and before) All of it intrigues me. History of guns, carriages, royal blood, tragedies... I'll save you from having to hear about that though. As for the First World War dealing with Hitler and his Nazis, sensitive topic. No, I never have written about it and never will.

Also, are you alright? I dare say perhaps it wasn't good for me to tell you I'm gay... It seems to have gotten to your head. Perhaps you should talk to someone. Not me. Obviously. No, I didn't go to Mines, it doesn't really matter where I went. The experience was nice though, and no, I don't have any debts anymore. I was lucky to have paid them off in time, with slight help. Perhaps, if you do come over for Schweinshaxe, you'll make lamb shanks for me. If that is what you want. Now look who's- So why do you want to come here? I have a feeling I know, but it is polite to ask, no? And to answer your question, no, I don't plan to finish college.

Your time at college seems nice. And if you really wish to, then so be it, add the photos. Thank you for writing. As for why I wrote back, it's common courtesy. Though I do enjoy it.

Sincerely,

Eydun Reyni

P.S. Maybe instead of you visiting me, I'll visit you, hmm?
