We finished up the last boxes and furniture and headed inside. We went into the kitchen to help put away everything, and just started talking.
"So Hayes how old are you?" My mom says smiling as she puts away glass cups in the kitchen Cabinets.
"Im 14." He say as we all helped set up the kitchen. We continued talking for a few Minutes and then we finished.
"Ok i think were done, thank you guys." My mom said happy. The kitchen was beautiful. It had granet counter tops and Stainless steel Appliances.
I left the kitchen to go look around the house to see that right next to the kitchen was the big living room it was all open space and from the top of the stair case you could see the whole living room. I was admirring the living room again until i heard footsteps behind me, so i turned around.
"This place is nice." Hayes said looking around.
"Yup." i say as Awkward silence filled the air. In the living room there were 2 huge double glass doors that im guessing led to outside. I walked over to the doors and opened the certin. It showed a huge yard with a big pool with a slide and diving board.
"Wanna go check it out?" Hayes says as i nod. We unlock the big double doors and walk out. I go the pool's diving board and sit at the Edge. I swing my feet looking down into my Reflection. I was about to get up when i slipped on the diving board and fell in.
"Crap its cold." hayes turned around. He was about to laugh but was trying to hold it in. He couldnt hold it in any longer so he started to laugh really hard.
"Well thanks." I say in the middle of the freezing pool. He let out his last few laughs and signed.
"Sorry." He said with a chuckle.
"You can a least help me out." I say as he nobs. I swim over to where he was and he put his hand out. He was pulling me up until i pulled him down and he fell in. He came up shivering.
"Crap it is cold." I started laughing as we heard a door open. It was my dad.
"What are you doing in the pool?" He said confused.
"We fell in." I say.
"You have to go get ready, we are are leaving in an hour to go next door." he said before leaving. We swam to the stairs and got out. We dried up a bit and then went inside.
"Um i have to shower so you can stay in the leaving room." I say.
"I think im gonna go home i need to shower too ill see you in a few." He said, and with that he exited the front door and left. I went into the kitchen and got my phone, i then grabbed a box labeled 'Arianas bathroom' i grabbed it and also grabbed a box that some of my clothes but not all of it, and I run up the stairs. When i got to the top i realized i havent even picked out a room. I looked at the time on my phone and it read 5:17pm i had an hour to get ready and pick out a room. I turned to the right and opened the door to a Decent bedroom that was kinda big but kinda small so i decided to continue looking. I went to the room next to it and it a bit smaller so i didnt choose that one. Then i turned left and down the hall there was a door, the last bedroom door. I opened it and It was huge and had lots of space. Light from the sun was shining into my room. There was a bathroom and it was nice. In the middle there was a king sized bed that looked really cozy. I walked around and opened another door that was in my room and it was a walk-closet, i went inside and was big too. I then saw another door that had a certain and the door was glass. I opened it and it was a cute mini balcony with a table and a chair. I looked at the clock again and it was now 5:25 i decied to finally go into the bathroom and shower and come up to my room later and decorate.
*15 min later*
I took a quick shower because i didnt really have time. I washed my hair and then put my hair in a towel to let it dry. I opened the box that had some clothes in it and i found one of my favorite jeans. I then grabbed a nice cropped shirt and wore.
Outfit:
Teal cropped shirt (that was laced half way in the back)
Darkish light blue jeans the are ripped in some places
Black vans
When i was done i went into the bathroom and looked into the big mirror that was in there. I liked the way i looked so i then fixed my hair. I let my hair out of the towel and it was all curly. I did my hair the way i always do and left my room and went downstairs to meet up with my parents.
*next door*
We walked up the steps of their house and knock. Elizabeth opens the door and greets us.
"Im so glad you guys could make!" she say smiling really bright. I looked around and their house was beautiful. I looked at baby pictures that were on a walk and looked at all of them, i was then tapped on my shoulder so i turned around to see Hayes standing there.
"Oh hey didnt see you." I say.
"Yea well do you wanna come to my room my mom will call us down when everythings set up." I nod my head as i followed his up the big stiral stairs. We entered his room and it was pretty neat.
"Nice room, pretty clean."
"Thanks i clean up well." he said smiling. I then sat on his bed as he turn on his TV. I was on my phone texting Alison and telling her about everything, Hayes was on his phone too and the only speaking voices in the room were from the TV. It was so awkwars i really didnt know to do.
"What do you want to do?" I say as he looks up from his phone.
"Um maybe-
We were then interputed by his mom yelling for us to come down because the table was set. He signed and opened the door i exited first as we made our way down the stairs and into the Dining room.
*30 min later*
We were done eating dinner and they the parents were just talking and laughing.
"Hayes go downstairs and go get anyother bottle of wine please." Elizabeth says as hayes nobs and asks me to go with him.
We walk downstairs to a big basement, Hayes grabs the bottleo of wine that was in a mini fridge at a bar. He was about to go upstairs until i stopped him.
"Whats up?"
"Lets stay down here we can watch a movie." He nodded and ran upstairs to give them the bottle and then came back down. We were watching movies on the for the whole night. Durring the whole we talked we laughed made jokes, Hayes and i bonded. We have a lot of things in common. i gave my jumber to him as he gave his to me. I had a lot of fun today, and i think i found my first friend in North Carolina. So far its been a good day.
