Months has passed as Josh went from place to place with mom.
I was also born, just a mere month old.
"You can't care for two young children." My aunt said.
"I know but how could I leave them both? I gave birth to them and I want to keep them." Mom said desperately.
She looked sadly at me and then at Josh.
"Josh, can you go and stay with grandpa and grandma? You don't know them yet but they will be very nice to you."
"NO! I wanna stay with mommy!" Josh shrieked.
"Alright, alright you can stay. But mommy only has the ability to care for one child. If I keep you, I would have to sell your sister away."
"Don't do that! I love her" Josh said as tears streamed down his face, "Okay I'll go and stay with grandpa and grandma. Just don't sell my sister away!"
A tear left my mom's eyes and she hugged Josh tightly.
Mom picked up the phone and dailed the number to grandpa's house down in the country side.

"Well, hello father. Josh will be in your care now." Mom said as she looked into the bus where Josh was sitting quietly but his eyes were like a leaking tap.
Mom's heart cringed with guilt and sorrow but she had to let him go. Just for a little while.

*3 years later*
Time has flown by, mom has been having frequent visits to the country side to visit Josh and through the years, Becan has also been sent to live with his grandparents.
"Don't you dare take any of them away from their grandparents or I'll kill you." My father spat in the phone while talking to my mom.
Mom, who came together with her friends and have been investing in a kindergarten they built from scratch.
It was a boarding school kindergarten for kids whose parents are too busy to fetch them home on weekdays as they need to work.
"Where is your principal?" My father demanded as he stood in front of the kindergarten glaring at the security.
Mom walked out of her office with me in her hands stared right at my father.
"What do you want?" She demanded
"Let's stop all this. Come with me and just live with me." He said simply
"Who do you think you are? No way I'm going anywhere with you."
Just then my father grabbed me and said "I'll take her out. If you want her back, come to me. Then I will take it as you are going to live with me."
After saying that, he saundered off towards his car.
~
"Stop crying for goodness sake! You smell horrible! Don't you know how to tell people you need the toilet?" My father pinched his nose grabbed me by my shoulder.
"What do you expect me to do?" He shouted in my face, "change your diapers for you?!"
I continued to wail.
"Come and pick this daughter of yours up. I've had enough of her." He screamed in the phone.
~
Mom came and changed my diapers and fed me my milk. I haven't eaten all day since he took me away and I was starving.
"She's only a baby. I see you don't care about your own child."
"She's a girl, girls are useless!" He spat as he turned to walk away, disappearing from our lives for a long time.
