Its those small conversations
The ones that weren't supposed to matter
That make you fall.
It's the boring moments and the silent admiration
You didn't even know what was happening
And then the earth moved.
Whilst tectonic plates glide and crash
What we know goes asunder
The stars rearranged in the sky
The universe aligned
An then they all shifted,
Again.
So what do you do when the earth moves an you can't find solace?
No emergency shelters
No national alerts
No protection
Just sifting through the rubble
Hoping to some day recover.
