Jungkook was so excited to meet taehyung today. He had brought a small gift for him knowing very well how taehyung likes surprises. He parked the car on the parking lot, these days he has stopped coming with hoseok because he stays for a long time at taehyung's.

He walked with a smile inside the cafe, looking at the small wrapped box in his side. The cafe bell rang and he expected for a deep voice to call his name, run to him, hug him and kiss him but there wasn't any action like this

He looked up from the gift and his smile dropped when he saw a new person standing on the counter.

The person smiled at him and bowed

"Welcome to kim's cafe, sir" he cheered because damn, the jeon jungkook came into the cafe at his first day and he didn't want anything more

"Hello" jungkook gave a pressed smile

"Where is taehyung?" jungkook asked, eyeing the cafe to see the male coming out of the kitchen, cream smeared over his face which jungkook would lick off and chide at him for being a messy person but the other would calm him down by a kiss

"Who is taehyung? I was told that the only master is seokjin" the male said confusingly

"What?!" jungkook shrieked but cleared his throat

"Um....is seokjin here?" jungkook asked but the latter shook his head

"He went out earlier" the guy said and jungkook sighed

He decided to go to taehyung's house in case of finding him there. He's scared from inside but he doesn't want to think anything.

He briskly walked towards the house and rang the bell. No one answered, he decided to knock, yet there was no answer. The door didn't have a lock that means they didn't go out anywhere 

"Tae? Baby?" he called

Meanwhile, the other was hiding in his closet, feet hugging his chest and trying to muffle his cries by a cloth because he didn't want jungkook to find out that he was home. 

He could hear the calls of the other calling him such sweet nicknames but he didn't want to give in

After all it was all for jungkook's happiness

Jungkook sighed thinking they must have gone somewhere, he looked at the gift in his hand and fiddled with it while his frame leaned over the door and sighed

He waited for ten minutes more because of that little hope in his heart but then decided to leave as he found no success in seeing his lover's face

He eyed the gift and decided to leave it at the doorstep if taehyung comes back he'll see the gift and call him and shower him with love.

He walked towards his car and sat in it, staring at the other's house but his eyes widened when the door opened to taehyung's home and his beloved coming out of the house, picking up the gift and clutching it to his chest while walking inside the house, crying

His heart felt a great pang in his heart realizing that his lover didn't even want to see his face.
