when you were thirteen
Everyone has quirks, what is a quirk? A quirk is some special ability, such as being able to lift super heavy things or even being able to speak underwater. What's my quirk you may ask well it's called 'maiden' I know it's a weird name, but I like it so that's all that matters, the quirk allows me to heal and summon shields or just a force field. It may not seem pretty strong, but I make it work.
Mother and father told me that even if it's not strong it'll be good enough to get into the top five hero's, my parents always told me I was born to get our family a name, they wanted me to be the best hero. To me that sounds rude so I packed my bag full of all the necessities, such as my stuffed bunny rabbit Ms stuffkins, and white chocolate and raspberry cookies.
I left the house when mother and father were talking to sir Torodoki, I made my way down the pathway, looking both ways before crossing the road. As I was walking down the main road I sorta lost my direction, can you blame me though I'm just a kid trying to leave my life behind and make a new mysterious persona. I looked around trying to remember if I knew any distinct objects or buildings in the area as a way to help me find my way back home.
since I was getting tired and decided that having my rebellious phase so young is annoying, and I also wanted to eat food because I ate all my cookies already. I couldn't find anything so I decided to retract my steps, as I was walking I thought I took a wrong turn since I'm now on the bad side of town.
I was about to give up when this tall man with blue hair and red eyes look at me, he made his way towards me.
"Are you lost, girl?" He asked in a sort of irritated tone, I didn't know if I should say anything, i mean stranger danger am I right?
I decided I should say something or it would be suspicious " I'm not lost I'm making my way to the building over there to meet my parents," I say making sure to point to a nearby building, in case he was attempting to kid nap me. Plus it'd seem like I would cause a ruckus and scream for my parents which would be faulty to his plan.
He stared at me for a while then said" why don't you come with me instead?" He asked it sorta sounded like he believed that'd I'd say yes. Which wasn't the case.
"I can't do that Sir." I stare at him and bow my head as a way to show I was sorry for being an inconvenience, he stared at me it almost appeared as he was contemplating whether to let me go or not.
He grabbed my hand with one finger levitated away from my hand and started pulling harshly on it, I started to scream hoping to catch someone's attention anyone's would be ok. As long as someone saw this incident that'd be able to report back to the police and send help.
Almost on time I saw a kid around my age grab the guys hand and smoke could be seen rising from his hand, it almost surprised you, he used his quirk in public but he's certainly too young to have a hero license, so was it stupid since you didn't use yours when you could've?
The light blue-haired guy ran away after getting kicked in his stomach by the blonde boy. You stared at him as he turned around to look at the person who started all the ruckus in the first place, his gaze was so intimidating you didn't know what to say.
You stared at him a few more seconds then caught up with the situation, you immediately bowed and thanked him for saving you.
"Tch, you're giving me a head ache" the boy stated calmly, then all of a sudden two boys came running to the boy saying how amazing he was, you caught onto one of them using the word 'Katsuki' to address him, so you assumed that was his name.
