It was an unexpected sound. A silent hum that echoed throughout his entire being. It was the gut-retching realization that he lost something precious. Something so dear to him that even his ability to hear was a pebble next to a diamond compared to what he had lost.

The dome that was filled with everlasting beauty started to rot once Hoseok stepped inside. Maybe the rotten was there to begin with.

Heat followed his footsteps. Fast, but reluctant. After all, the fallen angel was carrying heavy information. It weighed on his shoulders. Destroying his normal calm and poised nature. He was walking through the unorthodox palace where normal colors seemed to dance in front of you. The palace was eccentric and mischievous. As if it wanted to play with you.

His thoughts dispersed when he turned into a corner. His eyes landed on a door that illuminated in a multi-chrome hue. The door was cleverly decorated with various tragedies like Adam and Eve, Cupid and Psyche, Pandora's box and the fall of an Angel was carved into the obsidian.  Looking at the door, the fallen angel silently took in its features from every detail. He exhaled a breath to calm his nerves the best he could, but the butterflies in his stomach never ceased to stop. Shakily, he told himself, Don't be a bitch, Jimin.

And so, Jimin swung open the door with confidence. "Your majesty, an incident has occurred." The surging confidence depleted when his eyes rested on Taehyung. Taehyung was sitting on the dark throne with his legs crossed with his chin resting in his palm. The self-proclaimed king looked Jimin up and down. "Are you not capable of handling it?" Taehyung studies Jimin's face as it turns paler by the second

Jimin hastily moved forward observing Taehyung's movement. "There-" He took a deep breath. "There has been a disturbance. It's beyond me... and even Jungkook". Taehyung just hummed, subtly urging Jimin to continue. Jimin scrabbles through his papers and pulls out one specific paper that was paper clipped. "An unidentified flying creature had fallen in hell. Jungkook and I went to investigate. At first, we assumed it was one of those humans that the low-level angels accidentally dropped when bringing them to hell, but-" Jimin bit his lip and whispered, "It was an Angel. Not just any angel, an Arch-angel encase in ice."

Taehyung's eyes widened. He removed his palm from his chin and gripped his throne. "This better not be another one of you and Jung-". Jimin replied instantly, "It's not- You know us- We wouldn't-" Jimin sighed, "Nevermind, just- here". He handed Taehyung the slip of paper. Taehyung grabbed it and observed the image. The image displayed an angel-like Jimin said. The angel's features were blurred because of the ice, but still recognizable. Taehyung's face stilled in shock and his jaw tightened. "Is it him?"

Ah, Taehyung will always remain Taehyung. Jimin smiled and said cheekily, "Who else could it be?"

Taehyung raised to get it up, but the sharp pains in his chest caused him to lose balance. "Wait- Tae!" Jimin strengthens his arms to support Taehyung, but alas strength is not one of his strong points. They both fell on the hard marble floor. Taehyung hissed at the pain in his chest but was still desperate to get up. Jimin rose again to help him. "Tae. Take it easy. The angel is not going anywhere."

Taehyung pushed Jimin away harshly. His eyes redden in frustration, "You don't know that!" His weak voice shivered throughout the room. Suddenly, Jimin wasn't scared anymore.

It's true he hasn't changed a bit.

Jimin looked at his friend in pity, "You're right. I'm sorry". He took his friend's arm and put it over his shoulder. Jimin guided him the rest of the way.
