He lived in hell once, he gotten used to the heat.
One bystander at the bar, watched with intention and caution. They were female, about 5ft8 with long black hair, tan skin. The bartender noticed, but thought it was some person awe struck at the sight. Aerith let out more and more laughs, finally winning one game. The time on the old wall clock read about a quarter till twelve.
James hopped up as Aerith motioned his head towards the door, waving goodbye to the pub folks. He was stopped though, by the woman, who grabbed his hand. She spoke quietly and quickly
“I do not know you, but I know it's right to warn you, Your friend there, he is not truly there, hellish energy pours from him. Beware of his actions”
She said as she handed him a small card, it was a number with the name “Circe Diacico” She went back to the bar after she finished talking to James. He shook his head, waving the thought off as he walked back to Aerith’s ready to go beast of a car in the moonlight. He placed the car in his jacket, as he got in the car. The quiet vibrations of the engine, as it revved and started to cruise made it hard to stay awake. James laid his head on the seat, watching Aerith drive like he nothing to drink!, the liquor he had didn’t even have any effect it looked like!. Some could wonder how he was able to do it, others knew from his childhood. James only knew bits and pieces of the rebellious childhood Aerith had. He looked at his friend, and the change he went through, and smiled at the good that happened.
“Ya know?.. It’s been a while since I had fun like that, hopefully we can do it again soon”
James mused, smiling at that Aerith, who was zoned out, just driving james to his home. He nodded after a few minutes, coming back to the reality he knew through his eyes. Yet, in his mind he was in a reality of its own, and it was freedom. The lights came and go over the black chrome paint of the mustang, like a scene from the old futuristic movies in neon cities. James’s modest lil house came into view after a few minutes, it was rustic in style, but he loved it, it was enough for him. Aerith slowed and stopped, letting james get out of his car. He waved goodbye as james did the same before he entered his home, throwing his jacket onto the coat stand. He walked to his fridge and grabbed a bottle of water, before sitting down in his favorite recliner, shutting the small lamp beside it off, staring into the darkness before his eyes shut, as he fell asleep.
