[Next day]

Sam made his way into school the next morning after rushing to eat breakfast.
He practically ran over to his friends once he saw them hanging by his locker, since Sam was always the last one to arrive at school.

"Oh hey Sam. What's the rush?" Elton asked, seeing Sam out of breath.

"Oh- huh? Nothing" Sam quickly said, trying to catch his breath.

Jake snickered because he knew exactly why Sam was in such a rush. Sam sent him a glare and Jake laughed.

Jake,corey,elton,and Aaron all started talking in while Sam spaced out. He glanced over to where Colby was and saw Colby laughing about something with brennen. Then Colby looked at Sam, causing them to make eye contact. Sam quickly looked away as a blush was forming on his face.

Colby smirked and continued to talk with brennen.

[First period]

"Good morning class. Today we're going to be doing a project rather than something we'd normally do. It's just to test how good your writing ability is." The teacher stated, and pulled out a paper with a list of names.

"Jordyn and moriah"

"Sam and Noah"

"Elton and aaron"

"Colby and Nicholle"

"J-..."

At this point Colby blocked out all noises and glared at no one in particular. Sam was his and only his.

"Okay class, pair up with your partners!" The teacher announced with a smile as he sat down and began looking through e-mails on his computer.

Colby stood up, and saw Nicholle walk over to him with a seducing look on her face.

Colby just rolled his eyes and pushed passed her, trying to get to Noah before Sam did.

Luckily Sam was talking to the teacher, probably asking about the project.

So, Colby dragged Noah out of the class room, catching him off guard.

"Listen, sonic." Colby teased, since Noah had blue hair. "Sam is mine. Therefore, you will be with my partner instead of his. Got it?"

Noah looked confused. "You're dating sam?" He asked Colby.

"No. Not yet at least. Anyways, I know you like nicholle so this is the time to get with her." Colby said, trying anything to make Noah ditch Sam.

Noah seemed hesitant. "Fine. But you better let the teacher know!"

"Yeah yeah, go on sonic go with nicholle." Colby said, shooing him off.

Colby walked back into the class room, and so did Noah but Sam was still talking to the teacher. Luckily after about a minute, Colby had the chance to tell the teacher.

"Hey. So Me and Noah decided to switch partners because we thought we'd work better with the partners the other had. So now my partner is sam, and his is nicholle." I explained, and she just nodded and wrote it down.

I smirked and turned around to face an angry looking Sam, but he was flustered as well. "You idiot! Why'd you switch with noah?!"

Colby only laughed and walked out of the classroom right as the bell rang.
