Sumedh was alone at home today. The entire family except him had gone to attend a wedding. It was just a relaxing day for him, with a few errands to run later.

He was laying on his bed playing a video game when he heard the faint sound of the doorbell over the blasting music playing in his room. Taking a quick glance at the clock he wondered if his parents already returned because they had just left about an hour ago. He turned down the music volume went to attend the door.

Fixing his hair while making sure he looked presentable he opened the door.

" Mr. Sumedh Yadav ? "

Standing at the other side was a courier guy holding a heavy looking parcel.

" Yes ", Sumedh said trying to get a proper look at his face which was partially hidden behind his lowered cap.

" Parcel. Please sign here." The guy passed him the acknowledgement paper along with a pen.

" But sir, I don't remember ordering anything online. Are you sure this is mine ? Let me check the 'from' address, just in case -- ", Sumedh was skeptical to receive the parcel since it was not often that you receive a random parcel.

" The address is not visible. The ink got smudged due to rain and I am getting late. Make it quick ", the guy said swiftly cutting him off.

Sumedh just stared at him with a blank face. In his entire existence of 20 years he had never met a ' courier guy ' who had- first : hid his face behind a freaking cap, second : replied so rudely, as if the customer had quoted a price to buy kidney , and third : have such an overall pissing personality.

" Here, thankyou ", Sumedh made sure he kicked the door shut on the guy's face while carrying the parcel inside. He wished the courier guy knew how horrible he was at talking to customers.

The parcel was quiet heavy and he randomly guessed that it must be one of his distant relatives, who has sent some goodies and presents to him like they occasionally do.

However wht he didn't know was that outside his house the courier guy was still standing. The smirk on his face was the evidence of his victory. Now that the parcel of havoc was handed over he discarded his fake identity of a courier boy and let out an amused laugh.

He had done his part well. Now it was time to sit back and enjoy the show.

Hi everyone. This is the first book I'm writing on wattpad and I'm very excited for it. This was the start of the story and also the introduction of one of the main characters. The first few chapters will be short since i am trying to bring in all the characters one by one. But, once that is done and the main plot begins, the chapters will be lengthier.

Give this book a chance and add it to your library. I will be looking forward to your comments and your thoughts.

Journey to be continued . . .
