Chapter 3 -The Pact-

Keira: ''What...what do you mean by that? ''

Dragon: '' I have not asked anything that myself! I just want to be left ALONE!'' *raising my voice* ''It's been four years since I change places every week! And humans, they are all the same...promises, betrayals and it ends with deaths"

Keira is very moved to hear all this: '' Listen...my father is the chief of my city....if I convince him, everyone will follow him''

Dragon: ''It always ends in betrayal on your part!''

Keira: '' Give me a chance please! I'm passionate about dragons and animals..I can help change that!"

Dragon: ''Then I propose you the Pact of Dragons''

Keira: '' What is it?''

Dragon: ''It's a pact that is done for a lifetime, services in exchange for other services''

Keira: '' Yes​​...but how are we doing it? ''

Dragon: "To start, if we go back to earth?"

Keira: ''Yeah... I would like''

*The dragon sticks her against him and stings to the ground. Keira, dizzy, closes her eyes. The dragon lands softly on the ground and releases her. Trembling, Keira gets up and looks at him.*

Dragon: '' So the Pact? ''

Keira: '' Uhhh yes....I agree to do it....how we do it? "

Dragon: '' We must do it with blood ''

Keira: '' W-what? ''

Dragon: "Hey, do not worry, it does not hurt. We just have to cover the other's head with his blood. ''

*Keira makes a disgusted head*

Dragon: ''After we have to dive our head in the water for a minute''

Keira: ''What?? But I'm not a dragon, I'm going to drown!"

The dragon rolls his eyes: ''Humans...well I'll tolerate thirty seconds then''

Keira: ''Okay...'' with an uncertain voice.

Dragon: ''Let's start with you, I must have your blood''

Keira: ''But how?''

Dragon: ''What, you have nothing on you to cut yourself?''

Keira: ''No, I could not bring my sword as you took me out of my house...''

*The dragon rolls his eyes and lowers his head to his level, his mouth open*

Keira: "What are you doing??"

Dragon: ''Do not you see?''

*Keira sweeps her arm towards her mouth, closing her eyes. Pass quickly on a tooth:

''Ouch!'' And withdraws quickly.

Dragon: ''Well ... '' *drops his head to the ground* ''Now slide your arm over my head''

*Keira obeyed and slowly passed it over his head. The dragon stands up and cuts his leg with his teeth and puts his paw above her head. Blood flows on her hair slowly*

Dragon: ''Well...then clean us now'' *and go to the nearby river. Keira am, a little worried. He stops by the river:

''Are you ready?''

Keira: ''Uhh yeah''

Dragon: ''I'm kidding, you can just clean yourself, we've finished the deal''

Keira: ''Oh...'' smiles and cleans her hair.

Dragon: ''Then you leave me alone and in return, I let no dragon enter the valley''

Keira: ''Okay, I got it''

Dragon: ''Good'' *and spreads his wings to leav*

Keira: ''Hey!''

He turns around, a little annoyed.

Keira: ''Are you going to let me down here, in the middle of nowhere?''

He rolls his eyes and takes her. Fly to her village and pose her at ten meters from the village and flies away. Keira watches him leave shivering. Her father comes running: ''Keira! My darling are you ok?''

Keira: ''Yeah....yeah i'm okay''

Father: ''I was so worried! Because of this damn dragon I almost lost you! ''

Keira: ''It's not because of him....but because of us ''

Father: ''What ?? Are you crazy or what? "

Keira: ''It's because we shot their families than they attack us''

Father: ''Nevermind!''

Keira: ''Dad, I tell you! The dragon told me!"

The father shakes his head, take his daughter and locks her in her room:

Father: ''You'll come back when you're done talking nonsense like that!'' And close the door.

On his side, the dragon thinks, facing the moon:

''This human seems different to me... sincere....''
