Zach's POV
After feeding both me and Aria I put Aria in the nursery with all the other kids even after her protests. After the struggle of getting Aria to stay put even though I felt bad that she didn't want me to leave her there Corbyn called a meeting.

Corbyn- Ok so obviously Zach's blood is the cure but I need to do tests on the infected to be sure
Zach- You mean you wanna capture a Zombie?

I questioned

Corbyn- Uh yeh
Jonah- Forget it Corbyn none of us are willing to get that close to a Zombie
Zach- I will

They all turned to me

Jonah- What? Zach no are you crazy?
Zach- Well I'm the most trained and the other day when Corbyn was doing tests on me he said there's a chance a scratch or a bite won't affect me
Jonah- Yeh a chance it's not 100 percent
Zach- Well I'm willing to risk it
Jonah- No
Zach- Jonah you have to understand if Corbyns right we could fix this messed up world
Jonah- No
Zach- you know what I don't freaking care what you say I'm going

Jonah- Fine...but I need to tell you something first
Zach- Wha-

Before I could finish my sentence his soft lips were on mine, I kissed back obviously it was amazing.

Jonah- Zach I've loved you so much ever since the first time I met you and you were being a little smart ass
Zach- I love you too and I promise I'll come back
Jonah- you better and one more thing will you be my boyfriend
Zach- Yes Yes Yes 100 times Yes
Jonah- Great I love you bye

He kissed me again

Zach- I love you too

I then grabbed my weapons and left with Corbyn in the van.

Corbyn- Ok there's one by itself, put this on the back of its neck and switch it on

He said handing me a little gadget to put the Zombie to sleep.
I nodded and got out, walking over carefully to the Zombie. But just before I switched the device on the Zombie bit my neck....
